Bonjour lecteurs! You may have noticed, I stopped writing our weekly photography post Living Arrows. I had a long thought about it all. Even though it was one of my Blogging Goals 2018, I feel that I share a lot of our moments on Instagram and therefore do not feel the need to write a weekly full post on here. But instead, when we have have nice days out and adventures that I really want to remember, I will then do a little post with all our pics! And here is our Weekend in Cambridge in photos!
Visiting Some Family
Some of Grumpy Boyfriend’s family is living in Cambridgeshire so we went there for the weekend two weeks ago.
The drive was lovely and we were lucky with the weather. After having lunch, we made the most of the huge garden.
Sérieusement, it was so nice we were staying outside without a jacket or a coat!
Baba made sure to look ery élégant. After all, he has a reputation of being a bit of a Frenchie fashionista 🙂
Totally obsessed with the garden house, he stayed there forever after having lunch!
Feeding the Fish…
Eventually, I managed to get him moving and we played football. Baba also fed the fish and he played a lot with our cousins’ baby! Et oui, there was some cars involved!
The night came by and after more games and some beans on toast, we headed off to the hotel we booked for the night.
Cambridge City Center
After a generous breakfast (including two muffins and 1 croissant for Baba!), we decided to have a look at Cambridge.
I went there ages ago and it was nice to walk around the campus and play a bit the tourists!
Parked in the local mall (expensive car park too! It was £30 for 6 hours!!!!), we started with a bit of shopping 🙂
Punting in Cambridge!
Grumpy Boyfriend’s cousin then met us in town and we went punting! It was so good! I was not really sure about it with Baba being a real adventurer…
But we had such a great time!
Mind you, the Frenchie bébé was quite eager to lead the boat and I had to stop him a couple of times from doing it!
Never mind! He had a blast and our cousins was under his charms as always!
He knows for sure how to seduce pretty ladies!
Cocktails!
It was so nice to be out and about again and not thinking about work!
And to end up this fab weekend en beauté, we stopped by a nice hotel with a roof bar! Baba made some cocktails and moi? I drank some!
Just joking about it, but he was eager once more to play the bartender 🙂
Cambridge is such a gorgeous place! We will have to visit it again soon!
