Bonjour lecteurs! You might be in full back to school routines now. But if you are looking for a UK break over half-term, staying in a pub with kids is the thing to try.  The British pub chain Young’s Rooms definitely got the memo with its collection of boutique pubs with rooms. Why just have a meal in a cosy setting when you can actually stay overnight and explore the area? This summer, we stopped by south-west London. Here is The Park Teddington Review  that will get you thinking about a pub stay. Say no more, I am here to get you tempted.

The Park Teddington

Do you like l’idée of staying in a shabby chic pub in the outskirt of London? The Park Teddington is a must-visit. With over 40 rooms to choose from, the Grade II listed Victorian building is la place parfaite to escape with your family.

Even better, it’s a short walk from the train station, so that you can easily visit Central London or enjoy a leisure stay in the affluent suburb of Richmond.

The pub has it all to please. Not only it’s serving delicious seasonal British food all day, but you can also relax among its pub terrace outside.

L’Atmosphère

As for le décor, it is rather charming. Bear in mind that we visited this Summer, so the entire place was supporting the British team.

Picture a cosy inn, but with an elevated bold ambience. Now that’s what I call a grandiose pub! The visuals talk for themselves.

It’s a mix of touches modernes while keeping l’héritage of the original building. Dads will love watching sports  around a few drinks, while mums will fall in love with the elegant Victorian vibes.
