Let’s get fit and be a super Maman!

Frenchie Mummy is tired! Très fatiguée to say the least! Since Baba is home after his operation, our routines are getting back to normal, but slowly! Too slowly in my opinion! I still get up at least once every night and I wake up in the morning well grumpy.

I am so moody indeed that Grumpy Boyfriend is currently acting as my punching bag… You must have read my very recent post where I described how often I wanted to kill him. Do you think 7 times is not a realistic number? I agree with you but I had to control myself. I didn’t want Grumpy Boyfriend to throw me away and be homeless (or even worse, loveless!!!).

I must admit that I am very naughty at the moment. Since we went to Norfolk this summer, I stopped doing the Bikini Body Mommy Challenge that consists of a series of 20 minutes exercise. I thought I would have a week off and would get back into it after our break. But it didn’t happen!

I eat a pretty healthy diet: a lot of fruit, vegetables, and nuts. We don’t have freezer food every day! But still, I behave sometimes like I am a zombie. I am not myself! I can’t do all the things I normally enjoy doing: climbing the trees, running after Baba for hours, doing some housework until exhaustion…

I am kidding, right?! I don’t climb trees. It would damage my best outfit! And I don’t like getting dirty so I will pass on the housework! (Who is with me on that point? Put your hand up!).

Baba is the opposite of me! He is full of energy. Too much of it if you want my opinion. So I must find a solution to keep up with him. Otherwise, I might pass out or become a Mumzilla for good.

Imagine if I can’t get back to my old self ??!

Picture it right: no more funny, friendly, gorgeous, intelligent, witty Frenchie Mummy. Yeah, I am all of that. Nothing less. Actually, I was playing modest here. I should have added: entertaining, fabulous, organised. In two words, juste parfaite!

Anyway, I went out yesterday night with a friend of mine and she looked so well I was jealous. She gets up at dawn every day and works super hard and yet, she looked fresh as a daisy, whereas I was looking forward to my bed past 10pm!

Maybe I am missing something? My muscles are gone tats. My bones are hurting me like I am an old lady…I need to get myself energised to be sure that I fully enjoy all the beautiful moments with Baba. Yeah, yeah, they are all wonderful times, even the poops!

    I find it hard to try and be fit with my little lady because she just wants to copy but she gets under my feet. Or she wants my skipping ropes! These supplements look good, I may need some. #SundayBest

    It’s hard I think Maintaining a healthy active lifestyle but with treats and babies! They take up so much time and energy that getting that run in once they’re in bed is less than appealing…chocolate and some bubbly on the other hand, uuuh yes please!! So anything that can help get the nutrition you need I’m all up for. Thanks for sharing at #familyfun xx
