We love a staycation in England. It can be so much fun especially in the sunshine. And it’s l’excuse parfaite to have a family adventure. Par exemple, I love nothing more than a London break with my boys. As it was my birthday at the start of August, we had a beautiful stay at The Lincoln Suites In London. It was le pied-a-terre parfait to party in town!
A Stylish Aparthotel in Central London
Do you fancy a trip to London with your family? Then booking an aparthotel is probablement une bonne option to live like a Londoner.
Le concept est simple, you book a room, only it’s not your usual space. Indeed, you get to stay in a studio all furnished with all the amenities you need.
We love an aparthotel. Not only it’s super convenient, but you have more freedom as to what to eat etc. Indeed, you can cook whatever you fancy if you don’t want to eat out. We recently checked out Staybridge Suites in Vauxhall and it was just parfait!
The Lincoln Suites in Holborn
This time, we made it to a more central location at The Lincoln Suites. The beautiful modern yet nostalgic property overlooking London’s famous Kingsway is simply sublime!
Not only you are right in the heart of the city, so easy to accés, but you are just a short walk from some of the most iconic locations in la capitale.
Wherever you fancy going, Covent Garden, Soho or even The Strand, book now a room for a comfy stay in one of its 54 spacious studios and suites.
And let me tell you that it is très chic… Regardez!
Our Arrival
After arriving at Saint Pancras International, we stopped by The Postal Museum to learn more about the Royal Mail and go on a rather magical train under the tunnels!

So après notre visite historique, we walked to The Lincoln Suites. It was lovely to wonder under the shade of the trees on the fameuse Kingsway. And just like that, we arrived at our destination pour la nuit.
The tone was set with a chic lobby decorated with contemporary frames and modern designs.
L’Atmosphère
The whole building is pretty majestuous and yet very modern and sleek.
The space is light, decorated with style and yet, it feels comfy. Checking in could have not been easier and we were right away up to see our own aparthotel.

Our Stylish Aparthotel
As soon as we entered, we feel in love with the décor of our aparthotel. What a beautiful and sleek space!
It looked so contemporary thanks to the big windows letting the light in. When you stay there, you will feel like a true Londoner, no doubt about it. Soak in all the buzz of the capital in your comfy and stunning suite.
Mind you, you could also be an artist staying there during a retreat to look for inspiration…
The main bedroom was absolutely beautiful with the light coming in and les petites touches. I loved the velvet cushions, the welcome message on the TV screen but also the frames.
It was all very clean and made up so nicely for us. It truly felt like home! The prosecco and the fruit in the fridge were also a great bienvenue…
Stanley also had his own space as the sofa bed was made up for him to relax. He made himself straightaway at home and so did I… It would have crazy not to!
Facilities
As for the facilities, we had everything we needed with a kitchenette all equipped, a fridge, kitchen utensils and even a coffee machine.
We also had a desk on the side, which is handy if you need to work. The Lincoln Suites would actually make une bonne option if you are travelling for work! You even get your own petit office space!
En plus, the bathroom was also beautiful with its neutral décor. We had all that we needed for a comfy stay.
London Fun
And as we were in town, we made the most of it. Now, if you love history and discovering about new cultures, The British Museum is only a few minutes walk away.
We’ve already been not so long ago. So instead, we decided to go for a walk along Flee Street direction Bank.
We went to one of our faves, Puttshack where we had fun playing golf with a cheeky cocktail, pourquoi pas?
And in the evening, we made it to the so fabulous Galvin Bistrot & Bar to enjoy some yummy French food near Liverpool Street. You’ve got to try this gourmande place with its fab French vibes and delicious food. I am not biased at all, I promise…
And just like that, it was time to go to bed. We walked quite a bit! But it was the most perfect birthday treat!

And what is there not like about le concept of an aparthotel. Why not staying in your own studio when you can enjoy so much more room than un hôtel traditionnel? We tried many different places like this, but I must say that The Lincoln Suites was the most stylish one we got to visit.
It’s absolutely beautiful, the staff was ever so helpful and I truly felt like a princess for my special day. We made such beautiful memories once again. It’s perfect for families who want an adventure in London. You enjoy a très chic stay and enjoy more freedom at great value!
