Staybridge Suites London – Vauxhall
Le concept of Staybridge Suites est simple. The comfortable hotel in the centre of London offers suites for you to enjoy more room.
Or even l’excuse parfaite to have extended stays in town. You book your own suite with a kitchen incorporated, free Wi-Fi and le petit-déjeuner is even included!
If you like staying in a modern hotel with all the amenities you need to be independent with a smaller price tags, this is your place!
Our Arrival
The brand invited us to test its Vauxhall location so I jumped on l’opportunité to rediscover this part of London.
We caught a train and stopped at Vauxhall before walking to the hotel.
Located just a few metres from the River Thames, it was lovely to be welcomed by a smart and modern building.
The front desk team were quick to check us in et voilà!
You can grab a coffee and a magazine or even a snack at the pantry.
L’Atmosphère
Staybridge Suites London – Vauxhall was launched in 2015 but it looks good and is well decorated.
We also liked the look of the social space on the ground floor. You littéralement have everything under one roof with a pantry / shop right by the réception.
So grab whatever you fancy to eat and drink and make yourself comfy. It’s a great space to be social if you have a longer stay and you fancy getting out of your room for a bit.
We actually sat down for a bit to watch the football on one of the screens and it was lovely.
Our Studio
But what you really want to see is the room! And we were in for a treat with a spacious suite.
It was all very clean with some modern and stylish décor! We came in to find some snacks and drinks on our table as a welcome gift.
On the left was a kitchenette all equipped: fridge, kitchen utensils… everything was there!
The sofa had been turned into Stanley’s bed while we had the main bedroom right by the en-suite.
La salle de bains was stylish with a modern décor and lots of towels and all the toiletries necessary. It’s like you move into your own studio for a few days.
En plus, we had two TV screens so no argument about what to watch! Stanley certainly enjoyed having his own TV but he still managed to make it to my bed to watch some cartoons while cuddling up in bed…
Vauxhall & Imperial War Museum
The hotel is also la location parfaite for you to explore the South of London. On the afternoon of our arrival, we stopped by one of the numerous play areas and Stanley had a blast with some local boys.
This is what I love about London. You are right in the middle of an urban area and yet, you can find so many green spaces and parks.
We also made it to the Imperial War Museum. It’s free to visit, therefore, we thought it would be a small space.
But it’s a huge musée with so much to learn mainly about WWI and WWII within its 3 floors to see! It’s truly fascinating and very well documented ! There even was an exhibition about the trenches during the WWI that was so powerful and they mentioned some key locations from the area I am from. It was very moving!
Breakfast
Fancy a place where you can feel at home without needing to cook breakfast?
Pas de problème! Staybridge Suites London – Vauxhall also got you covered. Wake up, get ready and come downstairs to find a full help yourself buffet.
You can choose anything from a selection of coffees, pastries and others. I went for the porridge and a cheeky croissant while Stanley chose his dreamy petit-déjeuner with a muffin. Not a bad way to start the day!
Explore the South Of London
Staybridge Suites London – Vauxhall is located just a few metres from the River Thames, so we decided to walk to South Bank before our train home.
Iconic places such as the London Eye or Shrek’s Adventure are literally on your doorstep.
It was a beautiful sunny day and the area with buzzing with tourists, so we paused at the Jubilee Gardens. It’s such a lovely place and Stanley was clearly in his élément...
I also recommend you grab something to eat at the Southbank Centre Food Market. Now that’s what I call a complete London weekend!

Staybridge Suites London – Vauxhall has it all for you to have a comfy stay with your family. Are you seduced by the concept?
Our suite was spacious and welcoming. It was great to have everything under one roof and we really felt like at home during our entire stay.
For a smaller fee than your usual hotel in London, you get to enjoy more space and you have the freedom to cook or eat out.
So check it out! Such a good value for money! As well as an easy way to have a family break!
