Bonjour lecteurs! Now that our Blog Anniversary Giveaways event is over, time to share our monthly highlights! May 2019 had been one of the happiest months so far! Indeed, it involved a lot of lovely days in London, some shopping and of course our trip to Cyprus!
May 2019 Started Well…
The first week was full on with some Press Days and the #makingovermotherhood Event organised by Superdrug. I reflected a lot on my status of a blogger and how social media could impact on our well-being.
No need to lie. I have a hate/ love relationship with Instagram. I suppose like many others, I sometimes feel the pressure to share the positive and the beautiful moi. Well, we are all humans after all and it is not only pink!
Meeting a New Friend on Instagram
Having said that, it also had such a good impact on me this month. Indeed, I made a new friend. Like me, she is Frenchie and lives in Kent. It all started over some messages and we were fast to meet up for good!
It is so refreshing to have met someone with whom I have so many things in common! And she makes the perfect date to enjoy the soft play! It used to be such torture before, especially when I have zero WIFI at our local centre!
Now, I can have a good chat and I am actually enjoying myself! Who would have thought so!

Cyprus!
Another exciting thing that happened in May was our trip to Cyprus! I have been to Greece ages ago but this was the first time for me!
And not disappointed at all! Because not only I managed to achieve a decent tan and not get burnt, but I also switch off for once!
No laptop but only a lovely swimming pool and an all-inclusive buffet on the menu every day!
I already wrote a full post about it so I will not get into details here but let me tell you it was a week full of fun, ice creams and sun.
We loved discovering the harbour as a family. Retourner à la réalité was not easy!
Luckily, I got a lovely invitation to shop at one of my fave places!
Shopping At Outlet Designer Outlet
You know that I love shopping at the Ashford Designer Outlet. The brand invited us to check out its new ‘Garden of England’ themed playground.
And it is totally awesome! Ask Baba! He has already been back twice since then!
It is not far at all from us and you can also enjoy some yummy food at the new Yo! Sushi restaurant! Fab news for me as I am a huge fan and I had been missing it very much since we moved out of London!
We had a fab day with Sylvia and her little boy. En plus, I even got a new Paul Costelloe bag that I absolutely LOVE!!!! You will probably see some pictures soon on Instagram. Get ready for them!
May 2019 – What A Whirlwind!
That’s it for our monthly recap! It has been such an exciting one for us! June has not started so well. Both Baba and the weather have been a bit so so… Plus the post-holiday blues hit me hard! But I will tell you all next month!
