Bonjour lecteurs! Time to share my monthly highlights! While March was all glam in Mayfair and more fab days out in London, April 2019 was very much about family and spending some time with my two favourite men! We were very lucky to be invited to many restaurants & test their menus. Therefore, there might be a bit more food in my highlight this month! Overall, we really liked taking some time off and properly switch off, especially over the Easter weekend.
April 2019 – Let’s Get The Party Started!
The Easter Weekend was for sure the best part of April. Both Grumpy Boyfriend and I actually took some proper time off and we started it early on Thursday afternoon with a walk in the country.
Actually not far from us! In the village next door and after all this exercise, we went to the local pub!
The day after was a trip to the beach for a project we will soon share on our channels. Baba was in his element, playing à la plage, building sand castles and way more.
Easter!
As the weather was glorious, we had a fabulous time at Nanny S. for the day in itself.
Baba put on his best outfit (without forgetting his sunglasses!) and he went for some epic Easter egg hunt.
Some good drinks and food later, Baba had a break and helped his nanny with the gardening.
A New Bike
This month, Baba was also eager to test his new bike. He is a bit small for it yet. But the good news? It is red (aka his fave colour!), so happy days!
More gardening and sunbathing for the Frenchie Baba and the weekend was soon over! But we still had some good fun!
Côte Brasserie In Tunbridge Wells
I will write in more details a Côte Brasserie Vegetarian Menu Review next week, but here is a little glimpse of the Frenchies having a good time at the table.
We love nothing more than eating out as a family and we had a great time in Tunbridge Wells when we tried the new vegetarian menu. Plus this town is lovely for a walk around. I may have dreamed of buying one of those huge white houses 🙂
The Old Gate Inn in Canterbury
Eh oui, I will finish this post with more food! The last week of April was an intense one for us as we visited the lovely Old Gate Inn in Canterbury.
It is all on Instagram if you want to see more.
I absolutely loved the decor of the newly refurbished pub. En plus, it has such a family-friendly atmosphere. I really like this area too! We actually looked at a couple of places in Canterbury when we were looking for a house!
Mad Hatter’s Afternoon Tea at the Sanderson Hotel
And to finish April 2019 en beauté, Baba had le plaisir to test the fabulous Mad Hatter’s Afternoon Tea at the Sanderson Hotel. Our review with Bookatable is already on the blog!
Not the first time we had an afternoon tea, as we already had such a treat for Mother’s Day. But this one was quite spécial to Baba as he loves this theme!
Plus I got to catch up with my friend R!
A month really busy where we made some great memories as a family! I also attended a couple of press days and events. So good to walk around Primrose Hill and Hampstead! I might also want to buy a house there! I don’t really have any pictures for those, but I already shared it all on Instagram 🙂
That’s all for April 2019! As expected, I had way too much chocolate (it actually felt good!), but more importantly, we had a fabulous time over the long Easter Weekend!
May should be a bit quiet as we are going on holidays!!! Eeek! I am quite excited about it even if I am a bit scared too! Last time I took a full week off like that, it was so hard to catch up. So I reckon I will hate the few days after our return. But I also feel like I need to recharge my batteries for the rest of the year 🙂
See you next month with another round-up of our fave moments!
Disclosure: This post features some sponsored content I published this month but it is merely a list of my highlights of the month! A post for me to remember what we have been up to!
