Bonjour lecteurs! The magic of Christmas might be all over now. But I am sure many families are doing festive activities. As we recently checked out the Winter’s Tail at Chessington, here is why you should visit Chessington World of Adventures Resort at Christmas. The place is absolutely magical at this time of the year. Plus, despite the cold, you can still have fun on the rides. Fancy booking it next year? Here is how to do it like a boss.
Arrival At the Safari Resort Hotel
If you want to make the most of the theme park and have a place to relax after a busy day of fun, it’s worth booking a stay at one of the hotels. While we visited in November, we stayed at at the Safari Hotel. C’est la place parfaite for children with play areas, etc.
Even better, you can get a themed room: The Gruffalo or Oreo… Whatever your pick is, enjoy le décor magique to enchant the little ones.

Pour l’occasion, we got a Tiger room, which was quite spéciale. As you come in, there are bunk beds right before the bathroom. As for the main chambre, it followed the same theme with everything ‘tiger’. Big enough for a family of 4, you can let the children play or watch TV in their room while you chill in your own space.
Our room had a view of the park, right next to the zoo section, so you can wake up with wild animals at your doorstep.

Pour le petit-déjeuner, you have a large choice of food. We enjoyed the buffet varié. Au menu, pain au chocolat while watching ants walking around the tube along the restaurant (pretty cool!).

Or grab a juice before checking out the fish in the tank. Not a bad way to start the day…

Winter’s Trail at Chessington World of Adventures Resort
Now, if you live locally, the Winter’s Trail at Chessington World of Adventures Resort is a no-brainer.

If anything, it’s one of the best ones we’ve done this year. C’est simplement magique!

Au programme, you get to enjoy the whole park and zoo, after a bit of festive fun.

As we come in (you book a slot), you get through different workshops.

Meet the elves and THE MAN to talk about your Christmas list before you get to see some real reindeer and other fun tasks.

We really LOVED it! I think our favourite bit was the silent disco, where we could listen to all the classic Christmas songs. All the staff were so lovely, and you even get to visit Santa’s workshop.

Les décorations are on point! It’s truly a magical atmosphere.

Once you have completed all the activities and collected all your stamps, you even get a toy at the end! So cute and really full on! You get quite a lot for your money.
Rides At the Park
After so much excitement, we decided to stop by the café where we enjoyed a cheeky doughnut. But we also said ‘bonjour‘ to the penguins. Your Winter’s Trail tickets should give you access to the park.

So you would be crazy not to make the most of it and have fun on the rides. I must say that the Mandrill Mayhem was absolutely nuts! The world’s only Jumanji rollercoaster was quite a surprise at first (I might have screamed quite a bit!).

But we also loved the Ostrich Stampede ( I reckon we went on it like 5 times!) and the Rattlesnake was pretty epic too.

For younger kids, you got to do the Tiny Truckers and The Gruffalo River Ride Adventure. We also enjoyed the Jungle Rangers.

Now it’s super common to book fast track tickets, especially for rollercoasters. But we did not need to and queues were not long at all. It’s definitely un autre avantage to visit Chessington World of Adventures Resort At Christmas.
On top of the entire place looking pretty with its festive decorations, you get to do so much more than on a hot day…

So what do you think? Are you up for it next year? Visit Chessington World of Adventures Resort At Christmas and have fun with style before the bog day.

And if you love UK theme parks that have it all for petits et grands, you should also check out LEGOLAND Windsor. We did it at Halloween and it was so GOOD!
