Bonjour lecteurs! Dreaming of making it to Paris next year? After all, the ‘City of Love’ is fameuse for many places romantiques. From the iconic Eiffel Tower to a river city cruise, there is so much choice. Grumpy Boyfriend took me there for a romantic weekend back in the days, when we started dating, and I have so many fabulous memories from there…The French capital will remain a top choice in 2026. Here are the Most Romantic Spots In Paris you must see. Whether you’re celebrating something special or simply craving time together, a Paris city break would be a great short break for you and your special someone.
Sunset at the Eiffel Tower
Watching the sun set from the Eiffel Tower remains one of the most romantic experiences in Paris. Indeed, you can see some of the best views from the city, and it’s even more magical when the lights begin to glow.

Couples can stroll the viewing platforms, take photos as the sky shifts through warm colours. Plus, you can also stop by one of the dining options while looking over the city at dusk. It’s truly a timeless moment that captures the magic of Paris, especially with a loved-one.
Montmartre
You also got to stop by Montmartre, with its winding cobbled streets and artistic history. From Emily in Paris to The Summer I Turned Pretty, it’s the cool spot to see in town.
Stop by one of the charming cafés tucked into quiet corners before heading to the lively artists’ square at Place du Tertre. This neighbourhood is quite spécial. Plus, the Sacre Coeur provides stunning views across Paris. J’adore the bohemian atmosphere there, but bear in mind it will be busy.

Seine River Cruise
When we went together to Paris in 2015, Grumpy Boyfriend booked a Seine River Cruise and it was ever so romantique!
You get to glide past the city’s most iconic landmarks and you see the city from a completely different perspective. I recommend your go for a champagne tour, to taste all the best that France has to offer. I might be a bit biased as I am originalement not far from this area…
As you drift by Notre-Dame, the Louvre, and elegant historic bridges, it’s ever so calming to be on the water. La place parfaite for un moment romantique. From gourmet dinners to champagne cruise, it will feel ever so luxurious and intimate.
Paris Gardens
Paris is filled with peaceful green corners where you can walk about and dream together.
Hidden gems like Square du Vert-Galant, located at the tip of Ile de la Cite, provide a serene riverside setting ideal for lingering together.
But I also love the so fameux Jardin du Palais-Royal with its elegant arcades, and tranquil atmosphere. You don’t even need to go to the most touristic places. Even a little square, hidden from the crowd will be ever so charming.

A Bit of Shopping
Wherever you stay in Paris, make sure you stop by all the cult shopping location. I just loved walking around the Champs Elysées. A young Frenchie Mummy took her boyfriend there at the time, dreaming of a Louis Vuitton bag…
She came back home with a new tote bag and she was ever so happy! But les Galeries Lafayette or even the creative hub Le Marais are a must-see. It’s so Parisian…
Are you feeling romantic now? If not, you can also plan the perfect girls’ weekend in Paris. It’s just as fabulous! Here are some old memories to accompany this guide! Check me out 15 years ago!!!
