I flew to Turkey with Corendon last month, and I was quite impressed. Prices are competitive, and we had a very pleasant journey: the crew gave a warm welcome, and the food served on the plane was great. It ticked all the boxes.
Corendon Playa Kemer
We arrived at night at Corendon Playa Kemer, where a true little feast awaited me. The brand offers premium all-inclusive family packages, and they certainement know how to wow you.
Only 45 minutes from Antalya Airport, the resort features over 360 contemporary rooms spread across two connected buildings.
Choose your pick: a standard room in the main building, or a family room on the side.
Pour l’occasion, I got a sea view, with plenty of storage and some cool gadgets. I am still not over that alarm with a phone charger integrated. Pretty handy if you forgot to pack your cable!
L’Atmosphère
Corendon Playa Kemer is clearly THE COOL hotel on the coast.
L’hôtel offers a vibrant atmosphere, right by the famous Playa Beach. Party all day on the wooden pier, listening to electronic music, before jumping in the sea for a swim.
Don’t mind me relaxing in one of the private cabanas. C’est la location parfaite to take an Instagram shot!
Corendon Playa Kemer balances a chic, resort-style aesthetic with natural beauty. Nestled between the Mediterranean Sea and the Taurus Mountains, the overall ambience is quite something.
Pool & Beach
Still, you can also relax in style at one of the pools or on the beach.
We were particulièrement lucky the last week of October. We were even able to swim in the sea.
Personnellement, I would rather stay by the pool and relax with a good book and a yummy cocktail.
Kids are in for a treat with endless ice creams and 4 pools. Stanley would spend all day at the water slide pool or at the kids’ club.
In the evening, you can enjoy a show at the amphitheatre. From acrobatic acts to professional dance troupes, there is something for everyone.
Or you can enjoy some beautiful sunsets like this one.
Spa & Wellness Facilities
There is also a gym, but they did not see me there. Who are you kidding? I don’t exercise when I am away. Well, maybe not…
I recommend you stop by the spa. You get complimentary access to a traditional Turkish hammam. It was my first time, and I rather enjoyed it.
Fancy a massage? Book a treatment, but don’t forget to stop by the sauna and steam before. There is also a quiet space for you to unwind.
Leave the little one at the kids’ pool with Papa and enjoy a few hours of relaxation.
Play Tennis With Corendon
If you would rather spend more quality time as a family, you can also play tennis with Corendon.
Corendon Tennis Club Kemer is only 5 min drive. Pour être honnête, I am pretty much a newbie at this. But I still put on my best Wimbledon attire and gave it a go.
It was love at first serve! I actually look like a professionnelle there. More importantly, I had so much fun with my group, and I learned a trick or two. I reckon Stanley would love to check it out. What’s more fun than playing tennis altogether?
With 14 clay courts, an outdoor fitness area, and a running track, it’s a must-try when you stay at the hotel. Plus, it’s not often that you can play tennis with such a view in the background…
Feeling exhausted already? Get back to the hotel and savour some yummy food!
24 Hours Dining
What makes la différence at Corendon Playa Kemer is the 24-hour dining option.
Thanks to the ultra all-inclusive package, you get unlimited access to à la carte dining venues, snack bars, and even a 24-hour food court where a robot serves your food!
The kids would love this. Un autre plus? The little ones can also enjoy 24-hour ice cream service right by la pâtisserie.
Yes, you’ve read this right… You can stop by the café (it gives EL&N vibes) and try an opéra and other gourmandises. Don’t mind if I do…
As for the drinks, I LOVED that we had proper ones and not low-alcohol options you can sometimes get in all-inclusives. Corendon Hotels & Resorts don’t cheat you!
Where To Go / What To Do in the Area
If you decide to explore la région, stop by Phaselis Ancient City.
It was so beautiful to walk among the vestiges of this Roman city. Antalya has such a rich history.
It makes a nice spot for a beach day with the kids. It’s truly beautiful and not too busy in October. You can even swim at this time of the year. It was so peaceful to observe boats sailing along the bay. For some raison, it reminded me of Maslenica in Dalmatia.
I also recommend you go up Tahtali Mountain via the Olympos Teleferik. I’ve been in many cable cars before, but this was epic!
Once up there, you feel like you are on top of Olympus, littéralement!
We even spotted some gods out there, among the clouds…
We then stopped by Dim River, where you can catch your own fish to eat or savour a Turkish meal while sitting on raised wooden platforms right by the river. It’s a relaxing spot to enjoy some local food, observing the ducks. I even made a new donkey friend!
Corendon Playa Kemer Review – Le Verdict
Corendon Playa Kemer is clearly THE COOL hotel on the Antalya coast. It has such a vibrant atmosphere, especially if you like partying.
It was my first time trying an ultra all-inclusive package, and it was a great experience. I will actually consider this option next time I go abroad with my family.
Corendon Playa Kemer ticks all the boxes. I loved the beautiful settings, the delicious food, and all the little extras like ice cream à volonté and endless food. Even better, you can play tennis and do so much more!
