Wimbledon Style Guide with adidas

Bonjour lecteurs! Who is getting excited for Wimbledon this year? I am not really a sporty mummy, but c’est l’excuse parfaite to dress differently. If you are looking for a great outfit to enjoy the famous event, follow now my Wimbledon Style Guide with adidas. Whether you will be at home watching the matches or attending a public screening, here is what to wear.

adidas Tennis Collection

No need to introduce adidas. The largest sportswear brand has been a classic over 7 decades for families. And adidas tennis clothing is certainement on point this summer.

From tennis shoes to tops and skirts, the brand has it all for you and your family to pretend you are a champion.

Personnellement, it will be all from afar, watching it on TV. No tennis racket in view. I’ll grab a Pimm’s instead and watch the tournament looking good in my outfit. Plus, let’s be honnête, I don’t stand a chance at Wimbledon or even Roland Garros anyway!

Wimbledon Style Guide with adidas

Did you know? Wimbledon is the oldest tennis tournament in the world. C’est synonyme of tradition what the best of Great Britain. Whether you will actually go there or you will attend a party with friends, you need to look the part. The perfect dress code is to wear a smart casual attire. It’s more garden party than Royal Ascot.

So no fascinator or glamourous dresses. Go for boater style vibes. I would opt for a midi dress in a neutral tone. Something in cotton to feel comfortable. Stripes are a big oui for me! Whether you opt for a striped shirt or even wide-leg pants, select a summery shade that is not too flashy: beige, light blue, or even some touches of pale green. A linen set would work well too: it’s airy and comfortable, and yet très élégant. Finish the look with some pearls to look extra chic.

Or why not succumb to wearing polka dots? It’s a huge trend this summer. But don’t be boring wearing black and white. Go for something in navy or chocolate to parade your subtle tan. Add a clutch or a raffia tote with your favourite pair of ballet flats, et voilà!

Personnellement, j’adore l’idée to wear a navy outfit. It’s timeless chic and it will match so well with a glass (or two!) of Pimm’s!

My Outfit with adidas

That’s why I opted for this old school navy ensemble. But pas de panique! You know me, I could not resist but add une touche de couleur here and there… I might not be a pro at tennis, but I think I nailed the assignment.

Now, this adidas top might be more of a golf polo, but c’est parfait to parade around the courts. Even better, the Twistknit fabric is super light and comfy at all times. I love the way the sleeveless cut of the polo gives me a crisp and athletic silhouette with une touche féminine. It screams smart-casual and the orange detail on the collar adds up a bit of je ne sais quoi.

To complete the Frenchie look, I matched it with a navy pair of culottes. It’s the comfiest with extra pockets without looking too sporty.

Finalement, I added some pop colours with my new pair of adidas Duramo Sl Shoes. With a RRP of £55, they absolutely rock! Originalement made for racing, I think they add some pep to my look with a vibrant blue shade.

They feel light, fast and free, nothing less! These adidas running shoes support me with comfort while looking super girlie! There is nothing more boring than black or white trainers. I don’t think I even own a pair! The soft mono mesh looks très cool.

Last but not least, they are made with a series of recycled materials, so I am officiellement sustainable!

What do you think of my fashion picks? Not your conventional outfit to watch tennis, but I had to look the part with some sporty gear. Or maybe I will pack two outfits for the tournament? One dress to kill and my sporty look in case I happen to make it to the court at some point… One can dream!

Either way, I hope that this Wimbledon Style Guide with adidas inspired you for the sports event happening soon.
