Our Easter Stay at Shorefield Country Park

Bonjour lecteurs! Do you like family adventures? Exploring new areas in the UK? There is nothing better than a break in nature to pause and recharge. We had a lovely Easter Stay at Shorefield Country Park last week. I came back home energised and truly inspired again. Shorefield Country Park

Shorefield Country Park is a holiday park literally 800 meters away from the scenic Milford on Sea beach.

Not far from the fameuse New Forest, it is made of hundreds of accommodations. You can get a self-catering home or even book a lodge for you to enjoy a family break among the beautiful green site.

As soon as we arrived, everything was ready for us to relax.

Thanks to the contactless check-in, it was quick and easy to access our accommodation.

We did not even need to stop by the reception. I received a text on our arrival day with directions to our lodge!

Our Signature Lodge

Et quelle arrivée! Wow! Our Signature Lodge with Shorefield Holidays was truly luxurious!

The tone was set as soon as we arrived.

The hot tube was a hit straight away! It was already hot and ready to go!

I thought we would have to set it up ourselves and wait a bit for it to warm up😊

Our luxury accommodation was so spacieuse with a good size living room area and an island in the kitchen space.

We had all the facilities we needed: a dishwasher, a fridge-freezer, a washing machine, and also a cooling space for our wine.

With a welcome pack if we wanted a BBQ kit too! Nice Touch!

Spacious Rooms!

Stanley absolutely LOVED his bedroom and was delighted to have his own TV screen as well as his own wardrobe!

La chambre principale was of good size too and we had our own en suite bathroom! Parfait!

But the bathroom was truly luxueuse! We had a massive bath and also our own indoor sauna!

What a lovely treat to enjoy on top of the hot tube outside.

Everyone had their own robe so that we could relax. No need to bring your own towels either.

Isn’t it the dream? Talk about relaxing!

We were in a chilling mood straight away!

The Park Facilities

We checked in quite late, so we had some pizzas the first night and made the most of the hot tube!

But the day after, we were quick to explore the park.

It is quite big and we could get on a nice long walk.

We had a quick look at the beautiful tree houses you can rent for bigger parties.

Overall, Shorefield Country Park was very family-friendly and really quiet!

It was lovely to walk in the shade of the park.

There is also a health club with a large indoor pool and a gym.

Pour les enfants

Kids are spoiled at Shorefield Country Park!

On top of the numerous play areas and the indoor pool, you can also jouer au tennis.

Do they like créativité? Check out the Woofs Workshop, but be quick to book (unlike moi 😝), as spaces are limited.

You can do all sorts: pottery, slime, bear building… Le petit problème is that kids often need to be accompanied by an adult. It would be nice to have a kids club where you can leave the little ones for an hour or two on their own.

But overall, you have everything to keep the little ones busy in between the play area and the pools.

And bien sûr, the amusement arcade is always un succés.

We made a great team with Stanley and we rocked the slot machines!

So much we managed to get some nice jewels as a prize!!!

Things To Do Nearby

Un autre plus of Shorefield Country Park? Its location!

Sérieusement, Milton on Sea is only a 10 min walk from it, so you can enjoy a day à la plage.

We went there in the afternoon for ice creams and even went further along. It was so beautiful!

And the New Forest nearby is absolument beautiful! You can go for walk or rent some bikes.

Enjoy nature and say bonjour to the many wild horses that are happy to stop by on the road and slow down the traffic for a bit 😝

Peppa Pig World & Beaulieu

On top of it, we enjoyed some more or less local attractions.

We had a fabulous day at Peppa Pig World. That was a huge succés with Stanley! He is a big Peppa fan 🙂

Paultons Park is so big! We spent all day there and we literally left at the closing time!

We also checked out Beaulieu Motor Museum. I really recommend it if you have Top Gear‘s fans in your house!

Its play area is énorme and the boys were well impressed to see the one and only Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car!

Personnellement, j’adore la maison et les jardins! It’s a bit pricey but you can stay all day there.

More locally, I definitely suggest Lymington. The marina and the town center are so charming!

Shorefield Country Park – Le Verdict

Our Stay at Shorefield Country Park was the perfect Easter break. Exit caravans and classic camping!

You got to do it the Shorefield Holidays way with a Signature Lodge: the luxury break every parent deserves!

I was so impressed with how spacious our accommodation was.

The entire place is so relaxing. We could hear the birds tweeting first thing in the morning, and observe some lapins in the park while enjoying a hot tube session…

It truly felt like a luxurious stay in nature and we had all the comfort we needed, plus some extra bits with the indoor sauna par exemple.

Stanley had a blast at the amusement arcade and loved all the local attractions we stopped by.

We got some fresh air, made some more beautiful family memories and it was pure bliss.

The only little thing that might be missing would be the internet. The Wifi signal was very slow, especially in the evenings.

But then again, l’excuse parfaite to totally switch off, right?
