Bonjour lecteurs! Do you fancy a bit of peace in the country? If you’ve decided to make it to our belle région of Kent, I found a cute place to explore the coast. Récemment, we came back to Mount Ephraim Gardens as you can now go glamping in the beautiful property. If you are after a dog and family-friendly location in Kent, here is my Mount Ephraim Glamping Pods Review. This could be your next family aventure parfaite this summer…
Mount Ephraim Gardens
If you are local in Kent, you would have probablement come across Mount Ephraim Gardens.
The beautiful estate in the heart of Kent, between Canterbury and Faversham opens to the public every year between April and September. You can walk around the Edwardian gardens and enjoy a très British afternoon tea. We stayed last year in its B&B and it was stunning!
The family has now developed 2 glamping pods right by the orchard so that you can enjoy an enchanted stay in nature.
Mount Ephraim Glamping Pods
Both cabins offer some rustic charm in the heart of the Kent countryside.
After driving to le village, we followed the trail along the hill and made it to the Gala Pod.
The space is quite small and would make the perfect romantic destination for un weekend à la campagne. But you also have a sofa bed, so the children can join you for some fun!
Even better in the summer, you also have a private deck so that you can enjoy the views and your own firepit for you to cook what you want.

We made it up there during half-term and we loved the rustic charm of our cabin lodge. It’s full of character and yet, so comfy!
As we entered, we discovered a kitchenette well equipped so that you can cook what you want.
You also have a shower in the small bathroom space. As for the main bed, nested on the right, it was so cosy for a comfy night.
J’adore the petites touches with some local apple juice and crisps. Those treats certainly went down well!
You littéralement have everything you need within the cabin. It looks beautiful. It was so serene up there!
Dinner & Evening
As soon as we arrived, I dragged the boys for a country walk to the village. We made it to a little shop and got all our essentiels such as some marshmallows to enjoy by the fire!
We even discovered a little playground and we certainly made the most of it despite the grey sky!
Back to our glamping pod, we started to relax in our cosy cabin and once the night was dark, we grabbed our torches and walked up the nearby pub, The Red Lion. We always end up there when we are in the area.
It’s such a beautiful place and I love the walks around the green too.
After un dîner copieux, we made it back to our place for the night. It was not before roasting some marshmallows on the fire bien sûr…
Exploring Mount Ephraim Gardens
After a quiet night on the farm, we woke up to a moody day. It was so peaceful out there. Stanley stayed in his PJs way too long, playing with his toys while I read a book.
You do have a WIFI on site, but the signal was pretty inexistent in the morning. So parfait to totally disconnect! But bear in mind if you need to have access to internet.
Before leaving, we decided to explore the gardens further and had a little walk on the estate.
We’ve been in the area before and the gardens by the house remains my fave. La propriété is so big: there is a lot more to see if you wish. It must look gorgeous in full bloom. We definitely want to come back one day in the summer.
Mount Ephraim Glamping Pods – Le Verdict
Our Mount Ephraim Glamping Pods experience was just the perfect way to end half-term. Just before going back to routines, we made it to the a charming Kentish village in a peaceful location.
The pod was well-equipped and we had a lovely time. The design is beautiful and so welcoming.
We certainly enjoyed having our private deck and firepit. He loved roasting marshmallow while I enjoyed a glass or 2 of Gusbourne Wines.
Pretty idyllic if you fancy a break far from everything. To make it truly luxurious, maybe they could instal a wood fired hot tube too? I reckon it would look fabulous in the summer while enjoying the views of the fruit farm.
But it’s way more than that with the estate beautiful gardens right in the middle of Hernill. Quel beau village et quelle belle experience!
