Une photo, une histoire #4

Back with our fabulous Frenchie series today. It’s been a while as we had many things to talk about in the last couple of weeks. Amongst other posts, we wrote about Victoria Beckham who dared to kiss her daughter on her lips. Frenchie Mummy attended her first KIT day. We cooked some great Frenchie food and we launched our new special daddy tag challenge! So we have been quite busy, to say the least.

So here is la photo. Actually, it’s a collage of different pictures that were taken over the last week. As you may already know, we have been to Norfolk for a couple of days and we really enjoyed some quality time as une famille there.

Baba had his first proper holiday, even though we went to France in April. But visiting your family is not les vacances, right?

So let me tell you a bit more about each picture.

The top one on the left was taken in the flat we rented there. Baba was very Frenchie, wearing a pair of dungarees from Sergent Major, a gorgeous French baby brand that we love. Posing for the camera, he was clearly in his element.

The bottom one on the left shows a happy baby that has just been fed. As we already explained before, the babe loves being in control. Therefore, he is still holding the spoon. I gave up using a bib and instead put a big muslin around in neck as he is such a petit cochon!!!!

Our next picture, on the top right, is another snap of un heureux bébé. The reason is simple. He was sitting on a high chair and quite proud of it. Furthermore, a lovely lady seating next to us could not resist but give him compliments the entire time we were having our lunch. Baba loves when people tell him that il est beau. He particularly enjoys ladies gazing at him avec extase. He adores when women describe him as being ‘cute’, ‘gorgeous’ or ‘chubby’. I personally think that his favourite praise remains ‘What a beautiful baby’. As soon as he hears this sentence, he puts a smile on and flirts outrageusement with girls. I have been in situations where I was stuck in shops, unable to escape a crowd of women who wanted to caress him and touch his fat legs…

As you can see on the shot underneath, Baba was deeply asleep after a long day on a boat cruise. We were on the train back to our place when I took this snap. He just could not take it anymore. It’s crazy how babies can be so quickly tired. I have never seen Baba sleeping so much than on holiday. His face looks so peaceful and sereine. If only it was the case all the time!

Last but not least, we have Baba (again!) wearing a new outfit I bought in Norwich. It’s a yellow romper from Boots. It was in the sales for £3 only! I couldn’t resist. And he looks so gorgeous in it. I love the babies’ collection from Boots. The Mini Club Clothing line is full of fantastic items with great patterns and at such great prices. Here is a little selection of clothes I love in the sales:

And here is the romper that Baba was wearing in the last pic. C’est mignon!

So many lovely memories from our holiday in just one picture…We had a fabulous time there. Beaucoup de beaux souvenirs!

Lastly, I would love to thank @FrezyDermUk for sending us some fabulous samples of their summer skin essentials for babies. I loved using their sun lotion when we went to the seaside with Baba. The smell of the chamomile was lovely and the baby was very well protected. Look at for this fabulous brand mummies! It’s a great product to keep our little ones safe from the (so rare) British sun ??.
