Bonjour lecteurs! When it’s about beauty and self-care, men also love following new skincare trends. Just look at Instagram for a start and you will find a lot of tutorials and videos with men sharing their beauty and skincare tips. Is your man into it too? From David Beckham to Harry Style, everyone is into grooming! So here is your Modern Man’s Grooming Toolkit with Essential Products for them to try in 2023. Send it to all your fave men in your life!
Eyes: The Windows to The Soul
The eyes are said to be the windows of the soul. Indeed, they can translate so much like our emotions and passions.
But more importantly, it’s one of the most fragile parts of your face and also the first one to show signs of ageing. Like the ladies, men like using roll-on eye gels to fight puffiness. Swipe it under the eyes, and it can actively combat tiredness, for a fresh and bright look.
You can even go further and include some rich eye cream overnight for best results. Use it daily; la crème will repair and hydrate even the most sensitive skin.
Don’t forget to look after your eyebrows too. Grooming them isn’t about drastic changes. It’s just about a bit of refining, and tidying, so that they elevate your expressions.
Face: Your Canvas
Men are like good wine: they are more and more charming with age so looking after your face should be straightforward.
First stop, find out your skin type to find the appropriate skincare: oily, dry, or a combination?
Cleanse twice daily, morning and evening for toned and moisturised skin. It will leave your face impurities-free, hydrate your skin, and balance your pH.
It’s also worth investing in an SPF moisturiser to protect against the sun. After all, it’s all about safeguarding skin health!
Hair: Your Statement Piece
Icons such as David Beckham have proved how important a good hairstyle is. If anything, it was 100% part of his glamourous image.
Your face might not be your brand like him but your hair can help express your personnalité so much. Réellement, it’s a statement of style and personality.
Regularly trim your hair to eliminate any split ends. En plus, it will also help maintain a shape that complements your facial features.
And as far as washing your hair goes, invest in the right shampoos and conditioners. Shampoo bars are très populaire nowadays.
Even with top qualité products, the touch of expert hands makes a difference. Barbers and salon stylists are more than professionals, they will know what will work for you and can also give you some good tips on how to look after your hair.
And for anyone concerned about losing hair, there is a lot of help out there. The Oxford Online Pharmacy shines as a trusted source, offering a specialised hair loss plan thanks to its comprehensive hair loss treatments.
Bodycare
For fragrances, trust the French! They are classiques perfumes that never go out of fashion such as Jean-Paul Gautier or Christian Dior.
But this is only the tip of the iceberg. There is nothing sexier than a man who looks after himself.
I personnellement love the smell of luxurious quality body soap and shower gel.
Hands and Feet: Not To Be Missed
I could not write a Modern Man’s Grooming Toolkit without mentioning our hands and feet. Not sexy? Well, we still need to look after them.
The first step is to moisturise them so that they remain soft to the touch, free from cracks or dryness.
But what of nails? More than aesthetic appendages, well-groomed nails speak of hygiene and attention to detail. So let’s regularly trim them.
Neat nails are always so much more appealing. You can even go for a manicure and/ or a pedicure. I promise you will feel transformed after it!
Et voilà our Frenchie Modern Man’s Grooming Toolkit with Essential Products for you to try in 2023. What skincare products do you like using the most?
What will you start doing next to feel and look good in your skin?
Will share this with my eldest son!
Sounds good
My husband grooms more than me!! He can spend hours in the bathroom and before we had kids he used to take hours every day. Thank goodness he’s toned it down because he would be gone for ages, haha. But he does need a pedicure though :p
This would be well received by the boys – they spend longer in the bathroom than me
We all deserve pampering to make us feel fab
Lots of good ideas
I think it is great that men now have a regime, back in the 70’s it was unheard of, it is so important to your mental and physical well being making yourself feel good looking after yourself, men and women
