Bonjour lecteurs! Have you ever been to Disneyland Paris? C’est une destiantion classique with little ones. The last time we made it to the famous location, Stanley was barely 2 and my family came over to spend some time with us. As it was half-term, we made it to France again and we stopped by Paris. Here are my highlights of our Disneyland Paris Halloween Trip and some tips and must-do things in the park around this time of the year.
Disneyland Paris’ Halloween Festival
If you like dressing up and Halloween decorations, then Disneyland Paris is your place.
Indeed, for the occasion, the park is spookily ready and there are beaucoup d’extra activités from late September until roughly the first week of November.
As for the weather, you might be better off going for a Disneyland Paris Halloween Trip as the temperatures are not too low yet. Last time, we made it in February and it was freezing.
But last week was fab and despite the rain, we still had une experience très magique.
Get Day Hopper/ Premier Access Tickets
Back in the day, there used to be only one park, Disneyland. But now, you can also check out The Walt Disney Studios.
The first part is obviously the most traditionnel one with all the magical 4 lands: Adventureland, Discoveryland, Frontierland, and Fantasyland.
But the Walt Disney Studios is also worth a look, especially with the most recent Marvel Avengers Campus.
If your little ones are into superheroes and dream of meeting Hulk and Iron Man, then you’re best getting Day-Hopper Tickets so that you can enjoy both parks.
And to not waste too much time queuing up, I recommend buying Premier Access passes. They give you access to rides via a priority line and therefore, you get to do more in a day.
Like Disney World, it’s also great to download the Disneyland Paris App which gives you accés to real-time queues and all key info. It’s super handy. We got it before our trip so we planned our own schedule for a smoother experience.
The Halloween Disney Parade
We started our day at Disneyland Park where we checked out all the classic rides: Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain, Autopia, Buzz Lightyear’s Laser Blast, Pirates of the Caribbean, Peter Pan’s Flight, and Disneyland Railroad before watching the Halloween Disney Parade.
I don’t think I have ever seen such a colourful and truly spectacular parade!
The weather might have been grey and moody but all the characters gave us a show!
Many people rush to the top rides during the parade as queues are quieter, but it’s worth stopping by for the costumes, songs, and overall performance.
Together: Pixar Show
Once at the Walt Disney Studios, we managed to make it to the new Together: Pixar Show. It was a rush, but I am so glad we made it!
The live performance based on all the Pixar characters and movies is absolutely amazing!
The plot is pretty simple: a little boy Charlie, who is passionate of musique and dreams to conduct the orchestra for the school’s end-of-year gala, has lost his scores!
Not to worry, Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and all their acolytes are here to help.
And you get transported into a beautiful musical show led by the Pixar orchestra itself. Expect a lot of fun songs, travel to all sorts of worlds and there might even be some bubbles in the crowd… Just saying!
Marvel Avengers Campus & Walt Disney Studios
We spent the rest of the afternoon around the Marvel Avengers Campus and the rest of Walt Disney Studios.
And this was another succés! Our fave rides? Ratatouille bien sûr! It was like being in Paris and the 3D ride is one of my faves!
But I reckon Grumpy Boyfriend enjoyed Avenger’s Assemble: Flight Force and Spider-Man WEB Adventure more.
We even did the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Crush’s Coaster! WOW.
Fancy something a bit lighter for younger children? Then check out Slinky Dog Spin and Cars Race Rally & Cars Road Trip.
Disney Village & Avengers: Power the Night
We finished the night walking around Disney Village, taking it all in with the Halloween decorations.
But also with some shopping and a Mickey pizza, nothing less! If you want to book a restaurant within Disneyland Paris, I recommend you book online way ahead. We could not find anything as we looked too late.
At 10 pm, we watched the fabulous drone show Avengers: Power the Night, and I must say it was quite something! I am not an Avengers fanatic and even I was blown away!
It’s spectacular and so cleverly done with the drones in the sky! We had a full day with over 12 hours of fun and magic!
Where To Stay
To make the most of your time during a Disneyland Paris Halloween Trip, you are better off staying in a hotel nearby. Beaucoup d’options!
Village Nature Paris est un choix classique. Five years ago, we were very lucky to stay at the fameux five-star Disneyland Hotel and it was truly PARFAIT! It is now being redecorated and will officiellement reopen in January 2024. We can’t wait to see what it will look like!
So this time around, we stayed at Aparthotel Adagio Serris – Val d’Europe.
Not only it was cheaper than a hotel traditionnel but we got so much room for the 3 of us. Le concept Adagio est simple: you basically rent a mini studio in Paris! They also have some Adagio locations in the UK.
Our completely furnished apartment could accommodate up to 6 people with a kitchen and there is even a swimming pool if you book it in the Summer!
Prices start from £80 for one night and you get all the comfort needed for your famille. En plus, it’s only 5 min drive from Disneyland Paris. You can even walk and there are many buses to take you to the park et voilà!
Disneyland Paris Halloween Trip – Le Verdict
So, who is now ready for some moments magique with Mickey and Minnie and all their friends?
Our Disneyland Paris Halloween Trip was un succés! It’s a big thumbs up from us! We had never been around Halloween, but it proved to be a good time as it was not as busy as in the Summer and not too cold!
Plus, if you like a bit of spooky adventures at half-term, this is right up your street!

I have yet to visit a theme park during a festive season or event. Looks extra spectacular. Can’t believe Disneyland Paris has changed so much since I’ve been. It sounds so big now with all these different sections and Walt Disney Studios. Also thanks for the tips in regards to the restaurant. I will try and remember to book early if we pay a visit
