People who actually live in the area you visit will be your best source of information. And you will get to hear about all the cool places with real experiences rather overcrowded locations.
Or you can even find THE brand new place that will be have the hype soon. How cool is that to be among the first one to check out a local restaurant par exemple? When we went to Crete this year, we went for walks in the middle of nowhere and the views were incredible!
Travel Light
Now I am not always the best at this but when I pack smart and travel light, it makes life so much easier!
Roll those clothes to save space and ditch the creases! Grab some packing cubes to save up even more space. They work like storage bags and are amazing.
