Bonjour lecteurs! I can not believe we are already starting a new month!! We are so looking forward to Halloween and Christmas too! I know, it is a bit early to talk about it, but I went to London for different Christmas Press Events this week (all in my Instagram stories if you fancy!) and now I am well ready for it! Enough talking about this! Time to reflect with my monthly highlights from September 2019! Last month, I defined what was sisterhood to me and we had some yummy food in London!
Back To School Giveaways
So we started September 2019 with a Bang! Indeed, our Back To School Giveaways series was huge once again. After talking about going back to school, it now feels a bit weird that the kids have been à l’école for over a month!
Can you believe it?! Well, the good news is that some of our competitions are still live so have a look now if you have not entered them yet!
Mini Mode & AW Fashion
September is also a huge fashion month, so I was lucky to attend Mini Mode encore! We had such a blast with my friend Sylvia!
Baba got to try some of his new AW outfits with some style. He was happy to pose for the camera with a cheeky twist bien sûr!
More importantly, we spent many times out and about splashing and getting dirty at the park when he was not at the nursery! What a fun thing to do! Next thing you know, you will call me Peppa Mummy!!!
I also attended many fab events with the blog as the fashion season was in full swing!
Catch Me at Westfield London
While we were out, we also went shopping in Westfield London and we got some lunch at Catch Me.
The restaurant just launched earlier this year and you can get some seafood with a twist of Provence.
Basically, it is like a tapas concept with seafood.
We tried some bits and I must say that we had a lovely time!
The staff was really helpful and it was a nice treat before the fashion show!
ROH & Brasserie Blanc in Southbank
We ended September with a family day out in London.
After visiting the first edition of the Family Sundays taking place at the Royal Opera House, we had some French food at Brasserie Blanc.
What a stunning lunch! Read our full Brasserie Blanc Southbank Review if you fancy booking a table next time you are in Southbank 🙂
I have been mentioning many times the Family Sundays at the ROH on our channels.
The new season is now officially open and you can book the next edition to enjoy some music with your family and take part in some really good workshops & more!
Have a look at the lovely building and enjoy some fab view from the opera’s terrace on Covent Garden!
Fancy a longer day out?
The London Transport Museum
Have you ever been to the London Transport Museum? It is actually full of fun activities for kids!
I have been living in the UK for over 10 years, and I must admit that I never made it there.
But it is so sweet! And if your children love trains like Baba, they will be in for a treat!
My Younger Self & The Step Up School
Oh and yeah, I celebrated my 11th anniversary in this country that weekend too!!! I actually came across some old diaries I used to write as a French Languages Assistant when I arrived and it was so strange to reread my thoughts back then…
I was actually so insecure and a bit naive back then! It is true to say that I felt a bit nostalgic about those 2 years actually…
But I made a big decision this month! I (eventually!) decided to join the Step Up School with Alice Olins! After listening to her podcast for a while and loving her book, I am now proud to be part of a new membership club for a place to learn and grow with my sisterhood!
Sisterhood
No cliché here but women are stronger together! Looking back at pictures from last month, I can not stop but think how amazing it has been to meet fellow blogger mamas in our new area!
To move on in life and keep growing, having a community by your side is so important! I have had so much fun with my friend bloggers over the last few weeks, but I can not wait to meet other women and build new strong relationships!
I have a very exciting project taking place in just about two weeks and I am fully aware that without my community of fab ladies, it would have not been possible!
Plus, building a strong network of fab ladies will always benefit your career or life!
September 2019 – Sisterhood & London Food!
So excited to what the next few weeks will reserve us! October is very promising with more fashion and more days out in London for sure.
After a crazy list of projects in the first weeks, I will take some time off to enjoy Baba’s company over half-term!
And I am also going to France solo with Baba! Wish me luck to entertain him on the train for a couple of hours!
I will tell you all in our next highlights post!
Thanks again for reading my monthly highlights! See you next month with more fashion and some Pink October shoot!
Disclosure: This post features some sponsored content I recently published but it is merely a list of my highlights of the month! A post for me to remember what we have been up to!
