Bonjour lecteurs! Many publications have already talked about tips and activités to entertain the kids during the lockdown. Well, today is all about you! When it comes to skincare products and a bit of pampering, the topic can be quite divisive. Make-up or not? I personally rarely wear any at the minute. But one thing I am sure to have in place is some good skincare habits! So here is for you my Beauty Routine During Lockdown. I share with you 7 beauty products that make me feel pretty and give me the best skin possible! Enjoy and try some if you fancy!
BIODERMA Sensibio H2O Micellar Water
I use this micellar water twice daily to remove any make-up or pollution.
It is so soft and it cleanses your skin from impurities and pollution particles.
En plus, thanks to its formula, it is super gentle and it prevents the risks of skin reaction.
NIVEA Refreshing Facial Wash Gel
I picked up this cleansing gel during a recent visit to my local Boots and I am so impressed with it!
It contains Vitamin E so that your skin is deeply cleansed. But it is also so refreshing!
It was on offer at £2.83 and it hydrates so well! No need to spend a fortune for a good cleanser.
J’adore aussi its refreshing smell! My skin feels pure!
LA ROCHE-POSAY Retinol B3 Serum
You must already know that I am a huge fan of the brand’s Effaclar range.
Well, I have been using this serum for the last few weeks or so and it is is another hit!
I have never used retinol before, but I am so happy I gave it a go!
Because it contains 0.3% pure and progressive retinol, it leaves my skin soothed and hydrated.
I don’t have that many lines yet as I am only in my 30s but my face feels firmer and smoother for sure!
I apply a drop every morning and I can feel such a difference in my skin elasticity!
ELEMIS Pro
I follow up with this ELEMIS Pro
I must say that this one is an absolute dream!
The be fair, I have been trying the full Pro-Collagen range and it is to die for!
This award-winning beauty product effectively improves your skin firmness. It smells so good too!
To unwind and relax after a long day, I also use the Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cleansing Balm.
It feels like such a treat at home!
BAREMINERALS LASHTOPIA Mega Volume Mineral-Based Mascara
In terms of make-up, I like keeping it simple with this gorgeous BareMinerals mascara.
I don’t think my eyelashes get that extra volume, but I love the ‘doll’ style if gives to my face.
It is a nice and subtle touch to complete my beauty routine.
And if my lips feel a bit dry, I always use this LOTIL Lip Balm.
It truly hydrates my lips and they feel way better! The brand has been famous for over 100 years in the industry. Its products help to rehydrate dry to very dry skins.
And with its SPF30 protection, c’est parfait!
IT COSMETICS Confidence in Your Beauty Sleep Night Cream
As for my night beauty routine, I try to do one face mask a week so that my skin remains as soft as possible.
But I have been using for weeks this IT Cosmetics Night Cream and I LOVE it!
This moisturiser works overnight when skin cell turnover peaks, helping to improve surface cell renewal through exfoliation. You can literally feel the benefits as soon as you apply it.
The smell is very relaxing so that it also helps you drifting off nicely!
And you don’t need much! It is highly effective!
My Beauty Routine During Lockdown
Et voilà! Those 7 beauty products are pretty much my Frenchie Beauty Routine During Lockdown!
Looking back at it, it feels like I have been using quite a bit of anti-ageing products! ?
But my skin truly feels moisturized and soft, so I will carry on with those over the next few weeks!
Have you also put into place a special Lockdown Beauty Routine? Have you tried new skincare products while you are at home?
Is there any bestseller you think I should check out too?
I hope you enjoyed this girlie lockdown update rather than a parenting side of things ?
And don’t forget to enjoy 10 minutes or so a day just for some ‘me-time‘! Bonne chance while staying at home and homeschooling the kids!
Disclosure: This is my top beauty list of the moment. All views are my own, but it contains some PR samples that I received for free.
Looks like you’ve got a good routine going
I’ve found that with increased hand washing the skin on my hands has got very dry. I’ve been using my normal handcream, but I think I need to try something more long-lasting.

I recommend Rituals hand creams. They are amazing! My hands tend to be super dry too especially now as I am always washing and doing stuff in the house. But the creams are so rich! THE RITUAL OF AYURVEDA Hand Balm is my fave and it smells lovely! Try it
i used to have a similar serum from la roche posay – loved it!
My beauty routine hasn’t changed… I wash my face or sometimes use wipes LOL
Looks like great products!
Looks like you’ve got a good routine going!
I love the Nivea wash, I’ve been using face masks too to just relax.
I have to admit that I have let my beauty routine slip at the moment. I haven’t worn make up for weeks and my hair is driving me crazy. I love some of the products you use, Elemis being a particular favourite. I think I need to pull my socks up and get back into some sort of routine.
Looks like you have a great routine. Love Nivea as it does not irritate my sensitive skin.
Thats an amazing routine! Mine as definitely changed for a more simple approach, always make up free now and my skin is getting better due to it!
I’m really lazy and have only ever wash my face with water and then moisturise!
I love some of these products especially the Elemis Marine Cream. Such a classic
Keeping mine to the bare minimum to let my skin breathe a bit
Keeping mine to the bare minimum to let my skin breathe a bit
You have chosen some great products, the Nivea face wash looks a good one to try for me!
I have a weekly routine anyway whicb is even more imperative I stick too now being at home so much. Once a week I have a pamper evening.
I use a face peel, wax my eyebrows (fortnightly I do whole of face and monthly legs) and it saves a fortune. I then shower, using a treatment in my hair and spend time drying and styling.
My hair products are by Joico. In salon what my hairdresser uses and you can buy online. Not cheap but lasts so much longer so in the long run the initial cost isnt anymore expensive
I cleanse daily, tone and use oils for my skin with a light suncream for SPF.
I have gone very natural over the years and make my own toner and make up remover. It’s so simple and cheap.
I use natural oils for my face and hands. I use rosehip for my face and coconut oil for my eyelids and under eyes. On my hands I use avocado oil.
It costs a fraction of the cost, natural and healthy. Check out Google for natural products. Loads on their.
The only thing I buy is my cleanser ready made which is Elemis
