Testing Out The La Roche-Posay Effaclar Range

Bonjour lecteurs! You know, it, I love nothing more than introducing fabulous French brands. I have been a fan of La Roche-Posay for many years as its products are always so effective and convenient. Today, I share with you my views after testing out the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Range.

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Range

The brand kindly sent me some press samples of the Effaclar range to test. Aimed at oily, blemish and acne-prone skins, each product provides a complete routine.

I have been using this skincare for about three weeks and here are my views.

Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel

This gel is a specifically formulated facial wash for oily and blemish-prone skin. I have been using it every evening and it feels super fresh.

You don’t need much of the product to completely clean your face and it is also very gentle.

Refreshing, it has really helped in reducing the production of sebum on my face.

Un autre plus? This 200ml version is lasting me so long. Seriously. I still have half of it!

Effaclar H Cleansing Cream

To maximise the gel’s effects, I have also been using this cleaning cream in the morning. Easy to dose with its pump, it is not too greasy on the skin and super fast to wash off.

I usually prefer a gel version to wash my face but this is so gentle!

A great beauty product to wake your skin up in the morning. Plus, it feels soothing.

Effaclar Clarifying Lotion

To complete my skincare routine, I also received this clarifying lotion that is part of the range.

Pour être honnête, I have not used that as much as the other ones. I don’t really feel the need as my skin is not too prone to blackheads and spots.

But it is equally refreshing as the rest of the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Range.

Effaclar Duo + SPF

This dual-action daily moisturiser has been created to reduces inflammation, corrects the appearance of blemishes and helps to unclog and tighten pores.

It is a very good product. My skin looks way less shiny and I like the tube. It is not too big so that I can take it everywhere with me.

Once more, it is un succés for the La Roche- Posay Effaclar range, especially when it also anti UV.

I prefer the tinted version that I sometimes mix with a face oil for extra coverage. It works un peu as a light foundation and I love its smell. So fresh and pure!

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Range – Le Verdict

As always, the famous French laboratoires did not disappoint. La Roche-Posay Effaclar Range offers a good selection of effective beauty products for oily skins.

I don’t usually happen to have many blackheads or spots, but my skin really feels purified and fresh.

More importantly, I love the smell of the range. It is not too strong and your face really feels unblemished. My skin is softer and looks healthy too.

  1. I generally use face wipes and toner for my skin. I have oily to combination skin and the less product I add the better. However I’m really curious about the skin corrector as I’ve been dealing with white heads due to my glasses.

  2. I usually use Liz Earle products which I find suit me well but I am always open to suggestions and this does look like an interesting brand and I would be pleased to give it a try

  3. I’m usually really “simple” and just clean my face with warm water morning and night. But I have used this brand before and they’re great.

  4. Looks like a good range. I like the fact that it includes sun protection as layering on separate sunblock plus moisturiser is sometimes a gloopy experience.

  5. This range sounds wonderful, I must admit I don’t use much products on my skin but now as the years pass i am realising how important it is to look after my skin. Thank you for sharing.

  6. I usually use number 7, just out of routine but it doesn’t particularly do much for me! I do not have any tips for healthy glowing skin and still working on finding something that works for me. I like how gentle this skin care range sounds.

  7. I use a face wash when I bathe in the evening and a cream cleanser in the morning. I skip the toner and go straight to the serum then moisturiser. I should try harder and use better quality products like these!

  8. I’m starting to read a lot about La Roche Posay at the moment, they have excellent reviews. I think I might need to get some of these products to try for myself 🙂
