June 2026 – Time To Reinvent Yourself

Bonjour lecteurs! Time to reflect on what June 2026 has been for us. We have officiellement done half the year now, so I did a deep dive in reflection. My last monthly highlights will be more than a recap. June 2026 marks the moment when I change how I do things. Instead of concentrating on goals, I now want to make daily decisions on behalf of the person I want to become. It’s time to reinvent myself and forget about any old story. More than ever before, I am looking ahead, expecting great things to come. Are you too ready to switch perspective and take on new actions?

Norfolk Break

We started June 2026 with a mini break in Norfolk with Barefoot Retreats. Stanley had an extra week off, so we stayed at 4 Manor Farm Barns in Brancaster for a few days and it was so beautiful to stay on the coast.

Au programme, fun at the beach, relaxing in our stunning luxury accommodation, but also a cheeky session or two in the hot tub.

Despite some gloomy weather, it was so relaxing to be out and about in this gorgeous part of the UK and I got dreaming of a house there…Don’t I always?!

London & Kent

As soon as he went back to school, it was a mix of Kent and London life. We are currently looking at secondary schools options, so we went to a few open days. How exciting (and a bit daunting!) to think that Stanley will be soon starting KS3. Time truly flies by…

But I also had fun in London, catching up with friends around a glass of bubbles par exemple.

I even made it to the Pullman London St Pancras to try what I would describe a very futuristic dinner. What a treat! I even tried jellyfish for the first time and I can confirm that it’s really good!

Tunbridge Wells & The Seaside

As the weekend was upon us, it was all about family time. First stops, we made it to Tunbridge Wells where we enjoyed lunch at the local Pho.

We then headed to a lovely park nearby in Tunbridge Wells and it looks ever so British! It totalement felt like I was on set with the Bridgerton crew…

We also went to the beach to catch some sunshine and it was equally fun. Now, you can’t beat a day à la plage, looking for shells and fighting against the waves. Summertime never felt so good!

Working in London

The following week, I went to London many times for work. First stop, I attended Bioglan Balance Live, where I talked to experts about health and supplements. We even went for an energetic stroll around Clapham Common and I felt like one of the mums in Amandaland. It’s such a funny show, have you seen it?

I also went to a network event in Fulham, talking French cuisine and food. But so much more!

Father’s Day in London

I had plans in London for Father’s Day, but it turned into a mini London break when we booked a hotel at the last minute.

In between some sushi and pizza, we stopped by St Katharine Docks to listen to some jazz in the late afternoon and it was all I needed.

The marina is so pretty with its French Riviera vibes and good selection of restaurants. Stop by Fatto a Mano if you like a pizza; they were gorgeous!

Summer Gal

The last week of June 2026 was made of schools visits, walks in the country and work deadlines. We enjoyed a slower pace, but it was still lovely.

More importantly, it gave me plenty of time to plan the Summer. One thing is for sure, it will be filled with many adventures.

I also reflected on what 2026 has been so far for us and I am très contente with all the progress made this year. Opportunities are coming and I could not feel happier with the current dynamic. As you already know, I am very much a Summer gal, so I am quite excited about what is coming next.

June 2026 – Time To Reinvent Yourself

I am always eager to learn and improve and my recent readings really inspired me to reinvent myself. Now more than ever, I want to live according to the principle of Ikigai. During my self-journey reflection, I came to the conclusion that it’s time to reach for what I truly desires without any guilt.

Now more than ever, I am stepping up into a new era. I want to let go of my old identity. I am embarking on a self-improvement journey, where I need to act like the person I am becoming and not the old Cécile.

It’s time for a new me. Sure, some foundations will remain the same. I am still all about sharing our adventures in the UK and beyond. But there are some aspects of my life that I want to upgrade. Slowly, but surely, I am preparing for our future and it goes hand in hand with new habits and better decisions. I am excited for what is ahead and you should too!

Now is le moment parfait to reflect on 2026 and decide what you want to carry on and what you want to let go. I hope you find inspiration in my content. What are your big plans this summer? Happy July!
