April 2025 – Your Peace Is Always In Your Power

Bonjour lecteurs! The Bank Holiday Weekend is officiellement over. I am back to work, planning and scheduling content around my family life. But it is also time to reflect and I must say that April 2025 was epic, truly! We’ve done so much. In between the Easter break, school life and a few trips to London, I also managed to exercise and meditate more. Spring is truly a period of new beginnings. Nature is l’exemple parfait to show us that it’s a time of rebirth. April 2025 was a month of hope and positive thoughts. I worked hard on this idea and now more than ever, I believe that your peace is always in your power. You can find it within yourself at any time. Let’s go back to memory lane in my last monthly highlights.

School Life & A Beautiful Show

March was a mixed month, mainly because I lost someone close to me and it triggered all sorts of feelings. So I started April 2025 with a clear goal to find peace again and be more in control of my emotions.

We loved going to Stanley’s school open day and seeing him perform a show. It was just magique to see him in his element, so happy among his peers. I still can’t believe that he is nearly 10 and that soon, I will have a pre-teen in the house! Time flies by! And just like that, the Easter Break was around the corner.

Easter Holidays

We did not waste time… I had loads planned as a busy diary always makes me happy. Direction Hever Castle to see all its Easter display and we stopped by the château once more.

It’s always such a pretty place in the area. Hever Castle is l’exemple parfait of what Kent has to offer. I can’t imagine a life in another county!

We also made it to Canterbury as Stanley went to Barracudas Camps for a few days. I love it there.

While he was having a blast, I went shopping in town. But I also stopped by the river and reflect on what 2025 has been so far for us. It was beautiful! The sun was out, flowers were blooming, the boats on the river with tourists. I love England in Spring. C’est magique.

Visiting Suffolk

We then made it to Suffolk as I won a competition with Not In The Guidebooks. We stayed at the Secret Garden Glamping Pod in Beccles and it was just pure bliss.

Once more, we got lucky with the weather and we explored new places like Beccles and Norwich.

We even made it to the beach in Southwold and it was lovely to see him so happy in nature. We even saw the pink moon in the evening while going for a walk around the boatyard.

Now tell me that you don’t fancy a mini break there?! Isn’t it charming? We relaxed in the hot tub, we observed the majestuous swans, ate ice creams… Summer was in the air!

Easter In Kent

The following week, we made it back home and spent Easter in Kent. Au programme, a new hair cut for me thanks to Terri Gilham.

I will soon host a competition on my Instagram for you to win an Express Keratin Blow Out too, so stay tunned if you are local!

We also had lunch at the Ivy Brasserie in Canterbury before catching up with family and friends over the Easter Weekend. There is nothing better than being with your loved ones with some good food and the sunshine out, non?

In the blink of an eye, the Easter Break was over and it was back to routines.

Me & Him

Stanley went back to school and we were catching up with work. Grumpy Boyfriend has been very busy and it’s not often than we do something just the 2 of us.

So I booked us a day out in Kent. First stop, we hired some electric bikes near Headcorn. It was so beautiful to explore that part of Kent! The moody weather did not spoil the fun. I made sure of it with my colourful rain coat… You can’t say that I did not stand out, haha!

We also stopped by Chart Hills Golf Club for a cheeky afternoon tea. Can you believe all the food!?! We took 4 doggy bags home for Stanley to enjoy at home.

London Life

The following week, I also caught up with some friend in London and went to a sample sale.

But we also had a fun family day out in town, eating sushi (his fav!), walking around Covent Garden and going on a speed boat with Thames Rockets. Quelle aventure!

Plus, it was gorgeous to walk in the woods amongst the bluebells!

We even went to the beach after school one day. We were picking up Stanley from school and it was so hot (29°C). So we just drove there et voilà! I was picking up some shells, my feet in the sand. Our first beach day in Kent this year. That was the perfect way to end April 2025!

A Month Of Hope & New Beginnings

I’ve always thought that we should start the new year at the end of March, when Spring starts. It makes more sense and I always feel more energised and ready to tackle new goals whereas January is always a bit blink and boring.

April 2025  was l’excuse parfaite to push my mindset further. Now more than ever, I want positive thoughts.

So I have been actively meditating and manifesting. I feel better inside out and more in control with my life. I’ve also been more active. I joined a new programme and I have an online coach, Lewis Williams and I have already lost a few kilos, so I am super happy! If you are looking for some help with your health and want to feel more confident, check it out!

Yes, we’ve had miserable moments in April 2025. Par exemple, we lost our dear bunny Daisy and it was so sad to see her goes. But life is a cycle and sometimes, it’s not in your hands.

April 2025 – Your Peace is Always in Your Power

However, I still believe I am very much in control of my life. So whenever you are at a rough spot in your existence, remember:

YOUR PEACE IS ALWAYS IN YOUR POWER.

April 2025, Monthly Highlights, the Frenchie Mummy, Spring, New Beginnings,

This year, I have made the conscious choice to let them. Whatever does not serve me anymore, I am not fighting for it. May it be people whom you feel don’t make an effort to see you, or loved-ones who don’t treat you as well as you do… Erase it from your mind. You are the designer of your story. Only you have the power to control your life and not others.

Instead, follow your heart. Very often, your gut will guide you in the right direction. I truly believe in the power of intuition. I am convinced it served me well in the past. Well, after all I am here, it led me to my life in the UK!

The Power Of Affirmations

I’ve been listening to a lot of affirmations tracks and meditations over the last few weeks and it gave me so much clarity. Not only that, but I also feel like I reset my mindset. My positive thinking proved to bring joy and happiness. So I want to move forward in that direction and embrace it all.

If you fancy trying it out a bit too, check out Lavendaire on Youtube. I love learning new practices with her and other resources online. I am never ever bored of learning new skills each day. It brings me joy and it really opens up my mind. Never stop being curieux and trying  new things. It brings so much joy to life.

I can only end this reflection with one word, NAMASTE.

What do you have planned for the Summer? Where will you explore next? I am off to Spain next week and I can’t wait!

Disclosure: This post might feature some sponsored content I recently published but it is merely a list of my highlights of the month! This a post where I share some reflections as a mum in the country and in London. I hope it will inspire you to get on more family adventures.
