Bonjour lecteurs! Time to reflect on last month! Désolée my November Monthly Highlights are indeed quite late! I would usually write it the first week of the month. But I was busy with all our 2021 Frenchie Xmas Giveaways 😊 If you have not entered all my festive competitions yet, can I tempt you now to have a look? We have £1900 Worth Of Goods To Win here! There are 13 fabulous prizes!
A Weekend in Camber Sands
November 2021 started with a beautiful weekend in Camber Sands.
We love this plage on the South- East coast, so it was lovely to be back for an autumnal stay.
For the occasion, we stayed at the quirky and très rose Cloud Cabin.
We made the most of the beach, had fish and chips and even did some fireworks à la plage at night time. We had so much fun!
And the day before, Stanley attended his first-ever birthday party too! There were none last year, so what an exciting start to the month!
We took l’opportunité to spend the day in Rye and enjoyed some lovely food at the Union Rye.
I could not recommend it more. It’s stunning, the food is délicieuse and the service impeccable.
Nature & Craft
We came back home happy and rested on a sunny Sunday afternoon.
We finished the weekend with a walk in a nearby village and we encountered some friendly horses on the way.
The rest of the week was full of learning (back to school for Stanley!) and crafts. We started early on our Christmas ones.
I also made the most of my bike before the leaves were all gone. So many yellow memories like this one!
Big Decisions
Big decisions were made too…
Stanley got a haircut!!! Exit the fluffy and soft bland hair! He now looks like a grown-up boy!
It’s crazy what difference makes a new hairstyle.
And I also made some important décisions with my work. I have a new project to work on part-time on top of my freelance work!
I am so excited about it. I will be honest, I actually considered giving up altogether at some point and doing something else.
But I thought beaucoup about it and decided to carry on the Frenchie Mummy blog and my Instagram.
City of London
But after all these Kentish adventures, it was time to go back to our old life in London!
Well almost! We are not moving back to the city, but we had a lovely weekend there, staying at the so gorgeous Andaz Liverpool Street.
Not only did we have an amazing room, but we also had fun in the heart of London.
We went to the Museum of London and it was so interesting!
Have you ever been? I truly recommend it.
Weekend In Hackney
The following week, we were back in town in the super trendy part of Hackney! We even visited the farm after some delicious lunch at Haché.
Indeed, we enjoyed a Parisian-style brunch with a ‘make your own’ Elderflower Spritz Cocktail Kit.
The brand is giving you the chance to win a trip for 2 to Paris!!! Isn’t it fun?
And we stayed at Mama Shelter in its cool rooms. It was like being kids again with Tweety & Sylvester.

London Days
Having two fabulous weekends in London reminded me of the good old days.
I lived in the city for 10 years and I have so many fabulous memories.
It’s funny because I actually had this feeling it was going to be my life as soon as I arrived. Well, I dreamed about it but I did not realise it would come true!
Anyway, Stanley is a true Londoner at heart and he loved being in town, stopping by Hamleys, and having an afternoon tea at the gorgeous Rubens At the Palace.
You can also win An Afternoon Tea At The Rubens Hotel. Click here to see my Frenchie Xmas Competition!!
Feeling Ready For Xmas
The last week of November was all about getting festive already!
Indeed, we got our Xmas jumpers out. We even made one for Grumpy Boyfriend! Stanley loved doing it.
With more cold walks in the country to get some fresh air.
But also some extra cuddles to our lapin Chanel. The little lady is taking more and more space in our hearts and we are so happy to have a pet!
We also visited Christmas At Bedgebury for its annual lights display and it was so much fun!
What a fabulous way to end the month!
November 2021 – Family Time & London Baby!
November 2021 was a blast with many lovely weekends with my boys.
I am honest with you, I know how lucky I am with my job to have so many fabulous opportunités. Looking back at all the experiences we had last month, I feel ever so grateful for what I have.
But being a content creator, a micro-influencer (or whatever you want to call it!) also has its downside.
I have lost a bit of my mojo over the last few weeks and I was not sure it was for me anymore.
Even looked at some local teaching jobs! Argh… But I decided it would be a shame to quit it all. After all, I have built a great community here over the last 5 years or so.
So I am still here 😂 But I will also start a new project on the side. Not sure how it is going to go, but there might be times when I am quiet on here or on my Instagram.
Either way, I will still have some of the best competitions for you and I will tell you all about the cool places to see in Kent and London! Wish me luck!
What are your plans for Xmas? What are your 2022 Goals?
🎄 Joyeux Noël & Bonne Année 2022!!🎄
Disclosure: This post might feature some sponsored content I recently published but it is merely a list of my highlights of the month! A post where I share some reflections as a mum in the country. I hope it will inspire you to get on more family adventures.
I love your blog! I went to college to learn how to create a blog and get some IT skills, when the teacher asked me what site inspired me, I gave them your website blog www. and the whole class was looking at it on screen as an example of a great website and blog, one that I could aspire to be as good as. Mine never became a reality as I am so scared of tech and a technophobe, I am in my 50’s and we never grew up with all this I.T. and I fear my tech knowledge or lack of would ruin my blog. BUT thanks for being such an inspiration and a great website, good enough to show as an example in an I.T class at college!

Oh thank you so much Maria! That really cheered me up today! I needed it after finding out my family can’t come over for Xmas. You should definitely have a go at your blog! I am a big technophobe too and I still manage the minimum. You should try? If I can, you can definitely do it too 🙂
What a great set of photos, you are both so photogenic

I love visiting London although we took our twins last year when they were 2 and I found the underground really hard to work out which had accessible stations, we ended up getting the bus most places
Wow you had such a fab November – Chanel is such a sweetheart! Ive just read on insta that your family cannot visit from France because of covis restrictions. Im so sorry – I cannot imagine how hard it is for you.
