Margaret Dabbs Medical Pedicure Review

Bonjour lecteurs! I am not going to lie to you. Since becoming a maman,  my beauty routine is not what it used to be. I do the minimum when I have 5 minutes. My feet are the last thing on earth I would think to take care off… So I was very much looking forward to testing the Margaret Dabbs Medical Pedicure. The brand’s signature treatment is carried out by a qualified podiatrist in one of its clinics. Ready to read our full review? C’est parti!

My Visit to Margaret Dabbs in Notting Hill

If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen that I was out in London for the day. Before heading off the see the new Rachel Riley’s collection, I was booked for a pedicure with Margaret Dabbs London.

So a nice day out and some me time in perspective! No need to say that I was very much looking forward to it!

After arriving (late as always!), I was straight away introduced to the podiatrist who was going to take care of me. La pauvre! She had for sure some work to do as I barely look after them and they were not in a good state whatsoever.

But she was so nice and explained to me everything. Sipping some water and enjoying a massage in the comfy chair, I was off for a treat!

The whole beauty regime for feet specially designed by Margaret Dabbs London is full on!

This treatment is not your typical pedicure! It is a really good medical procedure done by a professional. So if your feet are in need of some love, have a look! It might be a bit more expensive than what you go for, but it is a full treatment that is meant to last.

The podiatrist was quick to get started and after cleaning my feet, she assessed my skin.

The whole process lasted a bit more than 45 min. It included a full package with nails trimming and removing dead skin. She used a very soft machine to do so and I am pleased to say that it did not hurt at all! That’s a relief! Call me a bébé but I don’t want to get any pain!

Argh! Sorry to share this one with you but I am reviewing a pedicure so…

She also exfoliated my feet with a crystal file, while answering all my questions. And I discovered everything I was doing wrong! Always do it on a very dry skin and not after a shower! You could damage your skin further and get infections!

Plus Some Beauty

Once the medical treatment was over, I then headed to the beauty salon to get my nails painted. I went for a vibrant red but the brand has so many fab colours!

When you have so many colours and you end up with a red, Toujours! 🙂

Comfortably installed, the second lady was equally eager to make me feel good! With another glass of water, I sat down, closed my eyes and relaxed!

My feet felt so amazing after the medical part! Then off to make them extra pretty!

Already, my feet were feeling lighter and so more comfortable after the pedicure. They were soft to touch and so much prettier than usual!

Job done in less than 2 hours!

Margaret Dabbs Medical Pedicure – Le verdict

I am so pleased with my Margaret Dabbs Medical Pedicure. The clinic is very good for its customers. While having my treatment, I could see how caring the manicurist was with one of her regular patients.

My podiatrist did an amazing job because my feet were in such a bad state! Not proud of it! But I also discovered some simple things I can do at home very quickly to keep having healthy feet too!

The clinic has many treatments, whatever you need!

My feet are totally transformed and the results last for so long! It had been over a week since I went to the clinic and my pieds still feel and look amazing! They don’t hurt me as much as they used to and I feel very sexy too! No need to hide them anymore! And because we still had some sunny and warm weather this week, I made the most of it, wearing my sandals!

The Margaret Dabbs Medical Pedicure is such a fab treatment! It might seem a bit expensive (£85 the 45 min session), but it is more than a beauty treatment! My feet feel so healthy and light!

Such a great customer service in a very pretty environment. Relax and enjoy it, this is the way to do it!

A great Christmas present if you know someone who could do with some pampering!

I’ve never really understood why women are so keen on abusing their feet with high heels or silly flipflops and then complain about their feet aching.

I would actually enjoy a professional pedicure like Margaret’s more than a professional facial. Thanks for the review.

Feet are so important to look after, especially if you wear heels a lot.

I hate having my feet touched. I’ve been trying to desensitize them by moisturiseing every day. The thought of someone spending 45 mins touching them sounds a nightmare

interesting to find out that I should try to remove dead skin when my feet are dry. I’ve been doing it after I’ve had a shower, so now I know I’ve been doing it all wrong!
