Bonjour lecteurs! I hope you are enjoying the weekend! After a rainy Friday yesterday, today will be a quiet day at home. No fabulous hotel where a famous queen stayed at for us this weekend. But we will have more great Frenchie adventures to share with you over the next few weeks. Not only we teamed up with some great childrenswear labels to be featured on Baba Fashionista but we have also booked some great events to attend! We will share it all with you on the blog! In the meantime, we present you with our new Baba Fashionista with Two Little Magpies. And because the weather has been a bit miserable lately, we want to cheer you up with a GIVEAWAY. Indeed, don’t forget to enter our new competition to win a very cute item for your little one! Ready? C’est parti!
3 Facts about Two Little Magpies
- Two Little Magpies is a small business located in South Leicestershire. The company started with playful and creative doodling with the mini magpies at playtime and grew into a small clothing range which is now going from strength to strength. I love the name! It’s so unusual for a kids’ brand. I have to say that I am myself a bit of a magpie (une pie in French) as I love all glittery things...
On top of these three facts, Two Little Magpies happens to actually be three fabulous mummy magpies: Hannah, Beckie and Annie! I love supporting mum entrepreneurs, especially when some of them used to be teachers like me!
Now, time to tell you what we thought about the two items we received to write this review.
‘Max the Cat in London’ organic baby grow
Made using earth positive cotton and featuring the super cute ‘Max The Cat in London’ design, this baby grow is super cute. Following the monochrome theme from the entire collection, this item is easy to wash and feels super soft.
All baby vests from Two Little Magpies are 100 percent organic cotton. There is nothing better than that! It feels both comfortable and made of good quality.
With envelope necks and three popper button fastenings, this piece of clothing is super facile to put on when you have a baby who can’t stay still like mine!
I loved this item so much that Baba wore it on his own to go to sleep when it was warmer.
My favourite feature is definitely the design on it. J’adore the Frenchie phrase ‘Le Chat‘ as it’s actually one of (many!) Baba’s nicknames!
This baby vest is perfect for le Frenchie bébé as it features an English twist with a Frenchie vibe. When Big Ben meets up a Frenchie chat! How cute and precious!
So adorable that we matched it up with trousers full of mice!
And because Two Little Magpies is committed to ensuring that children engage with the world around them and use their imaginations, it also comes with a free ‘Max The Cat’ in London postcard, for your little one to draw/write about their own adventures! How fun!
I love when kids fashion is not only about being pretty but also engage with our little ones’ imagination!
A top 10/10 for this baby vest which is just sweet but also fun and smart!
Do you love it too? Then, don’t miss our giveaway at the end of this post as you can win the same for your enfant!
So we love this ‘Max the Cat in London’ organic baby grow, but wait until you see the other item we got!
‘Wolfie’ Pima Cotton Romper
Do you like ethical fashion? Us too! It’s actually one of our favourites! And when a garment is also featuring another sweet animal, then we can’t resist. Cute alert for this gorgeous unisex romper! It will certainly be a key item in Baba’s wardrobe over the Summer!
This pima cotton Wolfie romper is the perfect playful, comfortable and stylish outfit for the season. Wear it on its own for a total look!
Mais as it was a bit cooler lately, we decided to team it up with a short sleeved T-shirt underneath. Don’t worry girls, Baba will certainly wear it on its own later on in the year (if the British weather allows us bien sûr…) and we will make sure to share this moment with you on our Instagram feed so that you don’t miss Baba’s muscles! Come on girls… You know you want it! 🙂
What do we love so much about this item except its gorgeous print? Again, it’s fun and so comfy to wear. I love the baggy style of it. In my opinion, we will be able to wear it for quite a while. Nothing worse than clothes that are so tight that you barely can make the most of it. And that fact that Baba is growing so fast doesn’t help.
We wore this romper while we went away last week and it was a hit for sure! Everyone said that Baba looked gorgeous! Merci Two Little Magpies for making my baby feel like a star!

The label we presented you with today is for sure a hit. Cool, fun, but also sustainable, it has all the advantages that a Maman can think of! I hope Baba Fashionista with Two Little Magpies made you feel like you want to buy the whole collection of this fabulous brand.
We love the style of this great label.
It’s obvious that Two Little Magpies understand the demands of parenting. Indeed, its clothes are practical, comfortable, ethical and climate friendly.
Le plus? Its items inspire imagination and encourage interaction between children, to help them to develop healthy and happy lives. J’adore!!! And you? Especially when it’s also just adorable!
Two Little Magpies is a label you must keep on your list if you want some cool and funky clothes for your little ones!
Disclosure: we received those items for free. All opinions are my own!
