Bonjour lecteurs! Something a bit différent from me today… What do you usually like listening to when you drive? Do you have a favourite artist that is your go-to on the road? Or a classic album you listen to on particular journeys? Kia challenged me to share My Frenchie Drive Style Playlist. Et voilà! Be ready for some Frenchie songs!
Kia Drive Style Playlist
Did you know that Kia has been a key car manufacturer for over 75 years? Now, the brand even goes further with its range of electric cars.
The innovative brand has always promoted movement and mobility.
With a strong desire to connect people to each other. After all, we are social animals, non? Like many others, I love exploring new areas with the boys.
And I would all agree that music is a great way to connect with each other too.
So, it’s not a surprise that music can influence your driving style.
Par exemple, a recent Kia house data reported that classical music, such as Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9, could make drivers up to four times more efficient.
So next time you drive, think about your playlist and how it will affect your performance on the wheels.
Here is for you my Frenchie Drive Style Playlist With Kia.
My Frenchie Drive Style Playlist With Kia
- For a bit of Frenchie Attitude
If I feel nostalgic or a bit down, nothing can cheer me up more than French music! I particularly love the soundtrack of Amélie.
I used to listen to it so much when I moved to the UK back in 2008. It always makes me feel happy.
- To Jazz Up Xmas
Now that we all are in the festive mood, I had to include a Xmas song, didn’t I?! What’s your favourite Xmas tune?
Last Christmas by Wham! is my absolute fave. It’s such a sensual one. I can’t get enough of it.
Not a fan? What do you think of Love Actually’s Soundtrack? I am a sucker for romantic comedies. Plus, it always gets me into a mellow mood.
- For My Commute To Work
I work mainly from home but if I need to drive to work, I would usually listen to the latest charts. I don’t get all the new and young tunes.
But if there is a modern artist I really like, it’s Taylor Swift. At the moment I listen to her last song Karma on repeat. It’s such a pop and powerful song. It makes me feel ready for the day ahead.
- For a Bit of Girl Power
If I am tired and need to regain some energy, then I always tune in to my teen’s fave artists.
The Spice Girls bien sûr! What is your favourite song by the fameuses girls? J’adore Say You’ll Be There or Who Do You Think You Are.
- When In The Country
But I don’t only like pop music. If we are out and about in Kent, I always put on some classical music. It’s just the best way to do it while driving along beautiful country lanes. And I might dream of living in a country cottage.
Clair de Lune by Debussy is one I often listen to. It’s just majestuous and feels so relaxing.
So, what do you think of my My Frenchie Drive Style Playlist With Kia? Do you fancy adding any of those songs to your own playlist?
What songs do you always play while driving? What would be the best album or tunes to drive a Kia electric car?
Disclosure: This post is written in collaboration with Kia.
I like classic 80’s power rock ballads when driving. I have an album called More than a feeling with all the oldies like Boston, and Don’t Stop believing by Journey the song I waked down the aisle to on my wedding day!
I tend to just listen to whatever is on the radio lol
At the moment I have a christmas playlist on repeat in the car! But usually we listen to audiobooks in the car. If the children are with me its usually a Julia Donaldson one or Peppa Pig!
Your taste in music is sooooo similar to mine!! I also love romantic comedies and seek them out every year. Christmas is not Christmas without Last Christmas by Wham! and my teenage pop songs still takes over my playlist along with Taylor Swift. These days I find the lyrics in songs quite random or meaningless. I don’t get it either…

haha glad I am not the only one. I feel so old saying that but music from the past was way better LOL
Yes not a bad playlist! Mine would have to include Queen and Dire Straits. My favourite Christmas song is Fairytale of New York by the Pogues
Ooh such a stylish car – and everyone loves Swifty! ♥
I think we all need a playlist in the car!
At the moment I am listening to Magic radio in the car as it is all Christmas songs, which I love!
This looks great!
Lovely car, much better than my old banger!! I love to have I believe in Father Christmas on my playlist at this time of year!
Such a great playlist
Ooo la la
Magnificent
What a beautiful car too
Awesome, great list for driving!
I listen to all sorts but I’m big on rap music and rock music like the foo fighters
I love a really cheesy playlist with 80s and 90s music
