The Hotel Indigo London Clerkenwell has it all to please with its modern furniture in neutral shades and pieces of art all over the place. It feels welcoming, yet luxurious and stylish.

Our Family Room

Our room was turned into a family space with a spare bed for Stanley. Made of a comfy king-size bed and modern lights, it was bigger than your average London hotel room.

There is such attention to details with a nod to the area’s rich design and craft heritage. From the clock to indicate your room number, to the velvety bed and pieces of furniture, this is truly playful and yet, with taste. This is my kind of place.

L’autre plus? The space was quite bright even though our room was facing the inside courtyard. It was actually quite fun to see people eating at the restaurant from our room.

Sit by the one of the floor-to-ceiling windows and soak it all in. It’s busy, yet it does not feel packed.

But this time around, we wanted to go further. So we jumped in a taxi direction another cool spot in town: the Old Spitafileds Market. It’s a cult location for antiques, but it also features a beautiful selection of Inide shops, small stalls and many yummy food spots. Stop by Mercantile to get some cool fashion and don’t forget to grab a cookie at Tinny Mammoth before savouring a bao bun at Yum Bun.
