Last weekend, were lucky to be invited along to experience Disney on Ice -100 Year of Magic taking place at the SSE arena in London. Baba might be a bit young to understand all the stories, but he is already a clear fan of Disney. He loves Star Wars, in case you didn’t know yet… Therefore, I could not resist and accepted the invitation. Plus I love Disney and stories of princesses, so pourquoi pas? You must be aware that I am myself a bit of a princess… But let’s tell you all about it in our Disney on Ice – 100 Years of Magic Review. Happy Reading!
Baba went to Wembley for the first time!
Not being a huge football fan myself, I have actually never been to Wembley. The idea to go to the SSE arena to see the show was very exciting! Off we went on the tube and within an hour, we were there.
Being super lucky, there was a football match taking place the same day at the stadium!
But we managed our way through a crowd of football’s fans and Disney enthusiasts and we arrived on time to the arena. It was very interesting to see such a mix of people. But I must say that all the footballers’ fans we met were very nice and even complimented Baba! Happy days!
Disney on Ice – 100 Years of Magic Review – A great show
Once we were there, Belle Maman and I bought some drinks and the appropriate Disney on Ice toy for Baba. After all, I know he is a big fan of Frozen, so he had to have a little something.
We had lovely seats, right in the centre about 10 rows back. I was surprised to see how big the place was. No doubt that even people sat at the back had a great view.
Plus the dancers and artists were on the entire stage so that any angle of the crowd could make the most of it.
The show was packed with all our favourites: the Disney princesses, but also more traditional characters such as Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck (He is Baba’s favourite! le Frenchie bébé is always giggling when the famous canard is on TV).
Made of short stories covering all the important personnages from the Disney World, the show was full on! Everyone could see their favourites. It was truly amazing!
I was also impressed with the costumes and le décor. Not only the songs were fun and moving but the choreography and the outfits were just magical!
Plus a bit of humour. I loved the part with Nemo. Isn’t he the funniest fish ever?

This looks absolutely magical! So glad you all had a great time. I want to take Eco to live children’s events such as this but wasn’t sure if he was old enough to sit through and appreciate it. Seeing your little has made me think otherwise. Thanks for sharing x #KCACOLS

very cool. We took the oldest to see High School Musical on ice years ago and I didn’t hate it. Plan to get the little to see one of these soon. She seems the prefect age to really appreciate it now #KCACOLS
This looks great. I think I would love it. Cygnet is probably a bit too young for Disney. He would be flirting with the women behind us too though. Boys! Pen x #KCACOLS
