12 Moments from 2018 that I want to Remember

Bonjour lecteurs! It has been a long time since I published a post but January has been so busy! I am organising Baba’s Birthday Party and it is taking a lot of time! Well, I also went shopping a couple of times but that is another story! Today, I am going to share 12 Moments from 2018 that I want to Remember forever. This post has been in my mind for a little while but I never had the time to write it.

Red’s You Are Enough Campaign

Have you heard or read about the fab Red’s You Are Enough Campaign? I came across it yesterday on Instagram. Le concept est simple: l’idée is to take some rest in January and not put any pressure on yourself to improve or get better. As I previously said, we should start the year celebrating our successes instead of feeling guilty and try to make big changes. Just being happy with who we are right now instead of dreaming of a better version!

12 Moments from 2018 that I want to Remember

And looking back my pictures from 2018, if there is something I am doing good, it is being a maman! I might not be the best but I am always trying and those moments I am about to share with you show some fab times we had as a family. They are part of me and make me proud. So I want to cherish them forever! C’est parti!

Janvier 2018

It was a couple of days before Baba’s birthday and we were just about to move into our new place. I was every day at home as I just left my job before Christmas. I remember going to Waitrose with him to get some cupcakes before the big day. January was pure bliss. I spent most of the time with Baba and we would go for long walks in our neighbourhood as I knew we were about to move for good out of London. I still sometimes miss the big town but I am getting more used to my new life 🙂

Février 2018

That picture was taken while going to Disneyland Paris. We were offered free tickets to enjoy the park for a long weekend and it was freezing cold! But the Disney Hotel is absolutely stunning (never seen such a fab breakfast! I probably put on a stone in 3 days!) and my family came around one day to have fun with us. Even my grandma who is in a wheelchair. Look at the happiness on his face 🙂

Mars 2018

I was getting to fully settle down in our new place. The previous month was so busy and it was so cold. March was full of adventures in the country. And to do so, we had to get Baba some serious gear… Boots and jacket sorted!

Avril 2018

As we both like shopping so much, we had to visit our local Shopping Outlet! It was a sunny day and Baba made the most of the car available there for hire. We make sure to get one every time we visit the Ashford Designer Outlet. Pas de choix! He is keen on reminding me every time! LOL

Mai 2018

It was so hot we had many days out in the garden chilling out really! We even got Baba an inflatable. But that was not enough! He had to play with the ball that the kids next door left in our garden. We returned it but he was not that happy about it! I think he liked the colour…

Juin 2018

We officially became a Micro Scooters brand rep and the rest of the Summer was full of rides in our neighbourhood. He is totally addicted to it. Another smiley face 🙂

Juillet 2018

We had such a fab time in Sotogrande visiting my dear friend E and her family. Swimming-pool, tapas and a lot of gossips, later on, I came back home relaxed and totally burnt! But that day was magical with both our family. The kids loved each other and I can not wait to visit them again!

Août 2018

I turned 33 and we had many days at the beach. But the fun was not over. We went to Devon and Cornwall. We stayed in a gorgeous chalet surrounded by sheep! Not much WIFI but we saw so many gorgeous places! The famous National Trust Place Cotehele offers more than some beautiful garden and natural scenery 🙂 This sumptuous afternoon tea by the lake will be with me forever!

Septembre 2018

Who said that returning to work has to suck? To cheer ourselves up, we went to the famous #FriendsFest in Brighton. After all, both Baba and I love this TV show!

Octobre 2018

That picture makes me smile. Baba is a character for sure… Comfy in his buggy while visiting Cambridge. We spent the weekend there to see some cousins and the weather was gorgeous. We even went punting. I absolutely love this area!!!

Novembre 2018

We started all the Christmas fun a bit early this year. His first official Christmas Grotto with Dobbies! Baba was not sure of the bearded man at first but was quickly convinced to pose for a photo with him after Papa Noël gave him a present 🙂

Décembre 2018

Christmas in France. I booked a Bed and Breakfast in the country so that we can enjoy the slow life. Baba and I also visited the local castle and he truly believed he was a prince. Well, he is mine anyway, non?

 

That’s it! Of course, I have plenty of other fab memories from 2018 but those are some I will look back with a smile in the future!
