3 Facts About Ubang
- UBANG was founded in 2006 and is owned and designed by Ulla Bang Jørgensen, who lives and works in Copenhagen. We discovered this brand while Baba was a little baby and we fell in love with its trademark, the elephant tee with its trunk on the sleeve.
- UBANG was already a guest on Baba Fashionista and once more, the new collection did not disappoint us! Regardez the whole Looks SS18: sweet colours, friendly animals, stripes and much more!
- Indeed, the fashion brand wants to inspire kids’ imagination and play. But not only! UBANG also cares about what matters! That is why all clothes are produced in Tirupur, India. UBANG works with a Danish sourcing partner that has close relations with the Indian producers and therefore, it’s is free of child labour.
That sounds all good to me! So let’s now have a look at what we received!
Kids Shorts, Grey Melange
Nothing more comfy for the Summer than a good pair of shorts! Those will definitely be a key item in Baba’s wardrobe once it is getting warmer! The cut is nice and sporty for an easy casual look. Paired up with a trendy top, it will be the easiest outfit ever!
Plus the elastic in the waist means that it is easy to put on and off. Imagine being on the seaside and feeling like taking the plunge right now. It’s done in 2 seconds and Baba can have fun!
The pockets on the side are also handy to put it the treasures found during any adventures.
Made of 100% organic cotton with Oecotex 100 certificate, the material is light, yet super durable!
Those shorts will be passed on for sure. Made in such a good quality, they still look as gorgeous after several washes!
Plus le détail intelligent? They match the entire label’s collection, for both girls and boys! So a unisex item that will go with anything! That is so cool! And it would go perfectly well with the top we received next.
Sassy Gorilla, Blue Haze
Baba loves bananas! How cool is this top on mon petit singe? And no bad play on words here.
This is for sure my favourite item from the website!
The description says this top is blue but I would rather describe it as ‘Menthe à l’eau‘. It is a bit green too and so light and fresh for the Summer!
Plus this cheeky gorilla looking for a banane in the pocket is so fun!
I love the colour and the funky design on this top. For sure, the brand wants kids to have fun with its clothes! This makes such a difference and no doubt my Baba is standing out of the crowd with this!
It is so quirky, a bit like the next item we received!
Elephant Tee, blue
If you already know UBANG, you must have one of these at home. This is another cool version of the classic and forever loved Elephant tee! This is such a sweet design and it works so well on Baba.
I love anything blue on him. And this t-shirt is no exception. Plus this shade makes him look so grown up. Totally handsome while going to a local pub for a good roast dinner!
We love the playful detail! One sleeve becomes the trunk of the elephant so that it is more than a piece of clothing and it leads to some great storytelling!
Washable at 40 degrees, so good for mamans too 🙂

We love all the items the label sent us! Made of 100% Organic Cotton with Oecotex 100 certificate (The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certificate is a global standard for textile production that is your guarantee that there are no harmful chemicals in the fabric), each garment is fun and playful.
The designs are so fun too and each piece of clothing features some cute details that make them very différent from other brands for a very special Baba 🙂
Ubang is colourful and fun but also durable. There is so much care put into each item we will for sure keep an eye on the future collections!
