Bonjour lecteurs? Do you ever feel like, each time you go to the park, all the kids have a scooter? Apparently, they are everywhere, especially in schools. I was never really into that kind of stuff. I am not even sure I would actually try one for myself. Frenchie Mummy is more the kind of girl having her own chauffeur 🙂 Oui, je suis une princesse! More seriously if you asked me two months ago about buying a scooter for Baba, I would have said ‘Non, non, non!‘ straight away. I would have thought that he was way too small for this! But we attended a press event in January and there were some scooters there. Baba rode one and didn’t leave it all afternoon. He loved it! And he was getting super confident so quickly! It was time for us to get one trottinette… We received it in the post not so long ago and here is our exclusive Mini Micro Scooter Review.
Mini Micro Scooter, c’est quoi?
We received a Mini Micro Scooter a couple of weeks ago. No need to say that Baba was super excité. He was so eager to show us his moves. But what is it all about? Let me tell you!
The Mini 3 in 1 Micro Scooter in Blue is not only super sweet! It’s a cool ride-on, toddler and Mini Micro scooter all in one! Wow!
It comes with a full set of accessories so that it adapts as your child grows.
From 12 months, you can use a seat so that they can still enjoy a ride and grow into confidence.
Later on, the O-Bar is idéale so that they can get a good grip. Do you see the determination in Baba’s face with this?
We are using this feature at the moment as we are starting really.
But later on,the T-Bar will get into action. That is when Baba is bigger and un professionnel!
So far, we really enjoyed the light as well as the bell but I reckon we will have to get some ribbon streamers too!
Mini Micro Scooter, Our First Impressions
No need to say that it was love at first sight for Baba…
But what about Grumpy Boyfriend? Well, he liked it too! Pourquoi? Because it was so easy to assemble it. There is nothing worse than getting a big toy that takes hours to build. Trust me, I have done it and it was not the best experience.
It is so simple to adjust the bar of your choice even Grumpy Boyfriend made it! Hurrah! Baba was able to enjoy it within a few minutes!
Another great thing? It is super light! The scooter weighs 1.5kg making it easy to pick up and carry so that I can take it to pretty much everywhere with me.
So a good start!
And We Took It Out!
As soon as we tried it properly, I was surprised to see how much fun it was for Baba. He is way too young to get into the ‘I want the same as my friend’ but he simply loved it.
It took him a few minutes to work out how to use it and he was gone! With Frenchie Mummy behind him trying to catch the moment to share it with you!
The scooter is pretty easy to use and he got used to the the steering system the first time around.
The only thing we still need to practise is the brake. It’s bright and colourful but Baba is not sure about it. I demonstrated it to him (oui, oui, the Frenchie Mummy was on the scooter! Mind you, just for a few seconds!), but Baba is adamant that he would rather use his feet to stop. Not to my liking as he will get his shoes dirty, but never mind. The Frenchie bébé is doing it his Frenchie way!
Why we like it
- it is so fast to get how to use it
- very easy to assemble so that you can use it straight away
- the design is really cool and you can even adapt it to your own taste with the large selection of accessories the brand offers
- it’s also light so that I can take it to the park in the pushchair
- I love the way it is adapting to your child growing
- it means we will use it for such a long time!
- conform to European safety standards, you can be at peace that your little one is safe
Mini Micro Scooter Review – Le Verdict
C’est clair, we all love our Mini Micro Scooter. Baba is still struggling a bit sometimes when there are bumps along the way. He would sometimes happily give up the scooter in the middle of the path without turning around.
I reckon the steering is sometimes a bit difficile for his age but I am confident that Baba will get it soon. Plus maybe we should have started to use the seat to get him accustomed to the scooter instead of the O-Bar?
And moi? I like the fact that we are going to keep this for a long time! We bought so many toys over the years that he used twice and are now in the garage…
This one is a keeper and if Baba was to get bored of it, we can revamp it so easily with all the cool accessories that the brand has available!
Mini Micro Scooter – Should you go for it?
Micro Scooters are said to be the UK’s favourite scooters and we agree with it! I know it is the only one we tried but we love it!
At a retail price of £94.95, it might seem a bit expensive but it’s truly worth the investment when you know you can keep it for so long. Plus it’s super solide, sturdy and it would not fall apart anytime soon!
I am even thinking I would like my own one… After all Micro Scooters are also for adults. I could pretend to be a coolster in the country. What do you think?
Looking for a present that will last your little ones for a long time and will make sure to make them happy? Go for a Micro Scooter! They are so fun, trendy and made of good quality!
Tell us if you also tried them and what is the best thing about scooting. After all, c’est parfait for the Summer 🙂
