This week has been quite intense for us. Baba was ill on Tuesday with a temperature of more than 39 degrees so I had to stay in and look after him instead of going to work. Great start! I am barely back to school and already absent… The good news is that he got better and the temperature slowly got down throughout the next few days. The rest of the week was a whirlwind and I didn’t manage to post anything… Oops! But now for our Living Arrows 3/52, I selected some pictures from Friday.
I reckon many of you experienced the same: it was snowing! I just captured Baba looking at the flakes falling on the floor.
It was early in the morning as we were both still in our pyjamas. (Ok, it was probably around 9.30 am but I was taking it slowly as it had been a tiring week! ?). I was working on the laptop when I caught him looking at the window. I had to stop and take some pictures.
It was the first time Baba was seeing snow and you can see that he was fascinated by it.
Actually, it’s like I bothered him a bit. His look on this photo says it all. He is in the middle of something! I love the way he is so expressive. Just looking at him, you can see what is in mind. I am the same! People always tell me that I am so transparent. That’s is why I am a bad liar!
Having said that, Baba still took the time to strike a pose for the camera! But you can see that he is well intrigued with the snow. I wanted to take him out and enjoy it a bit later on. But it melt very quickly and by the time we were both dressed and ready, there was not much left, so we didn’t. Admittedly, I didn’t really want to do that! I am not a big snow fan… And the idea of Baba getting all wet and dirty was far from being appealing! Plus I didn’t want him to get cold! Well, it’s a miss because he is now having a runny nose! Probably because we haven’t had any heating for the last week and a half!
Et voilà, our Living Arrows 3/52 is done and dusted! I hope you enjoyed these stylish black and white shots of le fameux Baba! I am loving this whole new photography project! I am so happy I decided to do so!
What did you get up to this week? Did you also enjoy the snow? Or did you just stay in with a warm cup of coffee? I want to hear it all!!!!

We had no snow out here (well it’s Qatar so more sand than snow) the look on his face is precious – did you go out in it or was he too poorly? I hope he’s better now
PS I can’t lie either.

you’re so lucky getting snow! we haven’t seen any of it yet. Not that I’m complaining really. It’ll only mean more hassle for me trying to get my two little ones into warm weather gear and shoved into the Phil & Ted’s. Lovely to see Baba enjoying it!
