Bonjour lecteurs! C’est officiel, half of 2025 has gone! In my new monthly highlights, I will reflect on what June 2025 has been for us, but I will also review the year so far. Do you also do a mid-year review? 2025 has been full of amazing memories. I am happy to say that I am on top of all my goals. Slowly but surely, I am on it. Even better, I have a new motto to keep me going for the rest of the summer: ‘If you can see it, be it!

And now, let’s get back to June 2025! It was still half-term, so I was on une mission to keep him busy.

June 2025, The Frenchie Mummy, Monthly Highlights, Minecraft Experience

Au programme, we made it to London to check out the one and only… The Minecraft Experience. Did you go with the little ones? It was so much fun and really interactive. If you have Minecraft fans in the house, it’s a must!

Another day, we also made it one of our favs, Battersea Power Station, to see The Jurassic Park Experience. Once more, it was a hit!

Once he was back to school, I made it to some adventures on my own. This time around, I caught up with my friend Angy for a bit of pampering and shopping at the Ashford Designer Outlet.

But we also booked our summer holidays!!! We are off to Rhodes to celebrate my 40th birthday in style and I can’t wait for it! So excited!

Chapel House Estate

The following weekend, we made it to the Chapel House Estate and it was très beau to walk around in Nature.

I dreamed of a house like this while staying in a beautiful modern lodge. We had such a great time in the heart of Kent.

Another beautiful hidden gem discovered that I recommend you visit. It might mainly be a wedding venue, but you can also enjoy some locally produce food at their amazing restaurant.

Father’s Day

On our way back home, we stopped by Canterbury for a bit of fun at the Escape Hunt. We worked out all the clues and got the jewels in this Aladdin themed puzzles room. I must say that we made a pretty good team.

The boys also found a local shop and came home with many vintage Pokémon cards. Stanley was well excited about his find. To top up Father’s Day, we went to Franco Manca for lunch. We had the nicest pizzas we’ve had in a long time! I recommend this yummy foodie place!

Family Life

The following weekend was all about school and work. We had a quiet week and relaxed.

I also showed off my creative skills at a fun painting class in Folkestone with my friend. Ok, I admit, I am not the next Monet. You can’t be good at everything LOL.

But it was so much fun to have a girls’ night out. I don’t do those often, but I had a great time. I also caught up with more friends the following day with a hot tub party. Too busy having fun with a glass of prosecco so no pictures, but a lot of memories made!

Gusbourne Wines

On the Sunday, we made it to Gusbourne Wines to try one of its annual BBQs. What is there not to like when you are in a beautiful setting in the country?

Good food, good company, good wines… We had it all. We are ever so lucky to live in Kent! The county might be rapidly changing with new built developments all over the place…But the Kent countryside is always so magique!

Making The Most Of It

After such a beautiful weekend, it was time to cheer him at Sports Day. I cycled a lot during that week, making the most of the beautiful weather.

Also, j’ai adoré attending his swimming classes. It’s just lovely to see how much progress he’s made since he started earlier this year. But also French classes and a day at the beach.

Quel programme! As always, we kept busy and made the most of it while the sun was out.

Weekend In Hampshire

June 2025 was nearly over and we had such a packed month yet again! But we still managed to cram a little weekend away in Hampshire.

We stopped by Basing House, an old Tudor Palace and played with the duckies by the rivière. So much fun to be out and about.

Winchester & The Ivy

But we also went to Winchester to show him where his dad studied at l’université.

A bit of nostalgie for Grumpy Boyfriend, but also some good food as we stopped at The Ivy Winchester Brasserie. Quelle beauté! Even better when I ordered a good steak tartare. You can’t make more Frenchie than that…

June 2025 – If You Can See It, Be It!

June 2025 was busy and happy. But it’s not only about adventures. You might just see the fun times here, but there was also a lot of learning and working in the background.

I am always eager to discover new things and I am always listening to a podcast, reading a new book etc.

My new motto for the summer? If you can see it, be it!

June 2025, The Frenchie Mummy, Monthly Highlights, Hampshire, Basing House, Old Basing

On one hand, it’s a good reminder than inspiration can come from everywhere: what you hear, listen to, read, see…but also Nature or you daily activities that might not look exciting. It’s all around us.

But it also means that if you can see someone else achieve their dreams, you should get inspired and take actions towards yours rather than being jaloux. Transform this envy you have from others into something beautiful in your life.

2025 Mid-Year Review

I usually reflect on the past month, but July marks a turning point in 2025. We’ve done half the year, so I did a quick mid-year review to see where I am going in my life.

Je suis très contente to say that I am on track with all my 2025 goals. This year, I rediscovered that big changes come from small daily actions. It’s all about consistency and never giving up.

I don’t have it all yet, but I want it and I will not give up. Now that I am nearly 40, I look back and see how much I have evolved over the last decade. Together as a family, we’ve achieved so much despite our challenges.

June 2025, The Frenchie Mummy, Monthly Highlights, Minecraft Experience

So for the rest of 2025, I want to carry on this way, keep on this path of learning and exploring always. No need to rush, it will come all in good time as long as I don’t give up. That’s all. That will look boring or even simple at times, but that’s enough.

I am enough as I am and I am proud to be a work in progress. I am grateful for what I have and I am ready for what is next!

What did you achieve, what did you learn so far in 2025? What are your plans for the rest of the year? I hope 2025 is the year where you feel the best version of yourself.

Disclosure: This post might feature some sponsored content I recently published but it is merely a list of my highlights of the month! This a post where I share some reflections as a mum in the country and in London. I hope it will inspire you to get on more family adventures.
