Bonjour lecteurs! It’s Grumpy Boyfriend’s birthday this weekend, so we are off to London for l’occasion. I have planned a romantic stay in la capitale. It can be so difficile to find le présent parfait for him sometimes. Stuck for idées too but eager to treat your other half? Whatever the occasion, personalised gifts are the best way to surprise your partner. Not only they show how well you know your them, but it’s also unique. So I made for you a liste with Four Personalised Gifts To Surprise Your Partner. Succés guaranteed!
Unique Jewellery
Does you partner like jewellery? It’s a fairly common gift, especially in romantic relationships. However, choosing or even creating a unique piece with your other half in mind is a très spéciale way to show how much you care for them.
Accessories for men are a huge trend right now thanks to duper cool celebrities like Harry Styles. Why not treat your other half to a luxury piece of jewellery like a men’s diamond earring, a gold chain or an engraved watch? I absolutely love my Rotary watch!
Rings are also une bonne option as they are available in a wide variety of metals and styles. For a truly distinctive touch, consider gifting tanzanite jewelry. Its deep blue-violet hues are eye-catching and elegant, making it a memorable choice for someone special.
Tailored Experiences
I am a huge fan of tailored experience personnellement. It can be so much better to spend time together rather than buying physical gifts. There are so many options whatever they are into.
If you partner is a foodie, they may enjoy a cooking class, a chocolate-making course or even a wine tasting afternoon.
I treated Grumpy Boyfriend to many of those experiences over the years for, Christmas, Father’s Day and more… Buy A Gift or Red Letters have such a good selection!
They adore la musique? Then you can opt for concert tickets or book a festival to go together.
Personnellement, je préfère a spa day or a good Afternoon Tea…
Bucket List Adventures
Making memories together is the best present for sure. It’s very likely to be a significant investment.
If you are looking for inspiration, then I suggest you check out the National Geographic’s Best of the World list where you can find all the very best travel experiences, hotels and restaurants for that year.
This way, it’s so easy to select a trip that suits your partner’s travel style, whether they prefer total beach relaxation or more of an adventure.
Handmade Keepsakes
If you are on a budget, why not go for a handmade keepsakes. It’s always so meaningful and more personal than pricey presents.
I looked online for idées and here is one I absolutely LOVE! Put together a jar filled with suggestions of days out together. C’est l’excuse parfaite to make more memories together.
I think making a music playlist (in my days, it was a tape lol) is still a hit. Or I also love the one about creating a photo book or a photo montage with your all favourite memories together. Leave some space for your future pictures too!
Or what about a personalised pen set? It makes such an elegant gift for a partner who enjoys the finer details. They can use it for work or simply on the go. I think that a high-quality pen engraved with their name or a special message adds such une touche personnelle. It will remind them of you all the time!
Finally, whichever present idea you choose, use inventive gift-wrapping ideas to sweeten the gift even more. There is nothing more caring than a present well presented. It shows you put extra effort into it.
Et voilà some simple Four Personalised Gifts To Surprise Your Partner that will make them love you even more.
Disclosure: this is a collaborative post.
Until we retired much of our married life was spent apart juggling family and careers. The most precious gift we were ever given was time to be just the two of us. Absolutely priceless. Now both retired and empty nesters we spend most of our days together as we love being with each other. Our favourite activity is walking so costs nothing. Sad that many people seem to need to spend money to make a gift special.

That is so true. I am very guilty of it at times and I was always looking for the hype present but lately, I have really slowed down on that.
I think both my husband and I are keen travellers so we are always looking for personalised travel experiences for each other to share. Can’t believe I have never heard of the National Geographic’s Best of the World list though. Will need to have a look.
But when it comes down to more material personalised gifts, then Etsy is my place to look.

yes Etsy is cute. Have a look at the list. I cam across it online and it’s quite good.
I love the Red Letter gifts as there are so many different experiences to choose from!
I like the idea of tailored experiences as you can share them together.
Great ideas – love personalised gifts the best
Great gift ideas!
Some great ideas here. Certainly given me some food for thought!
My husband passed unexpectedly 6 years ago so unfortunately gifting is not possible in the usual sense
However I believe my husband is still with me and ours, in spirit so I take him with me when I travel. Traveling was and is a big part of our lives.
I take some small belongings like his favourite knitted jacket, a photo for the side and my memory bear made of his clothes which I my cuddle now.
So my gift to him is to keep him with me in spirit and alive. Death ended my husband life. It didn’t end our relationship/marriage
Probably not the type of reply you were expecting however that’s my gift
