Our new fashion post is very special to us. Indeed, Baba Fashionista with Bear & Babe is very close to my heart as the brand we are presenting today is owned by a fabulous mum entrepreneur! I am very proud to support other mamans and it’s essentially one of the reasons why I created #Babafashionista in the first place. 3 Facts about Bear and Babe
- The shop’s owner is called Mary and she is a lovely lady! Maman of two, she is also working as a part-time nanny when she doesn’t make beautiful baby clothes. Her children inspired her to create bright but also super comfy and stretchy clothes. She is a maman, so she knows quite a lot about what it involves: climbing, running and jumping amongst others! ?
- Mary named her shop online after her children. How cute is that!? I actually called my fashion series after Baba’s nickname. It just says how important are les enfants to their dearest mummies. I am sure you know exactly what I am talking about! If you want to read the full story, head over to her website. She just explains is so nicely. I could imagine doing a better job!
- Mary is so passionate about Bear & Babe. The quality of the materials she is using for each piece is gorgeous and the label on each item just says how much she loves what she is doing!
But enough of me talking about the brand! Let’s see the clothes we had la chance to review!
Flying Hedgehogs print Harem Romper
This super soft harem romper gives Baba such a relaxed look and yet, he remains as stylish as usual!
Made with Organic jersey cotton, it is great and easy to use. The poppers at the shoulders make it facile to dress le bébé. You can actually order a matching dribble bib if you want your little one to look like a superstar!
Beautifully handmade, this romper has the funkiest print ever! Of course, Baba could not resist but be a little cheeky while wearing it!
Actually, I love so much this picture that I use it for a Living Arrows!

Hooded Onesie
When I ordered the clothes on the website, I was a bit hesitant as I was a bit worried that it would be a bit too much! Mais when we received the item, I realised that is was just perfect! The grey fabric used for the sleeves is so soft that it balanced the colourful outfit!
Yet again, this item made of Organic cotton is very comfy and you can be sure to stand out of the crowd. I have seen many envious looks from other mummies when Baba was wearing it.
The geometric fabric is just stunning and the hoodie makes the outfit so cool and edgy. I was very proud to be out and about with such a stylish toddler! ?
Le verdict?
Bear & Babe clothes are bright, comfy, original and playful! I had so many compliments over the weeks we have been reviewing those items. I would usually not order clothes on an online shop like that as I am always worried that they would be too tight, but Bear & Babe’s clothes are made sur mesure to make sure they perfectly fit your enfant.
Not only the clothes are unique but you can clearly say that Mary is eager to create beautiful pieces!
I also love the fact that the owner is a maman. For sure, she knows what is best and what it is like to have a little cheeky aventurier like Baba!
