Many of you might have already heard about this fabulous charity. We already collaborated with Black Lake Clothing in the past and today we are presenting you with their special Christmas/Winter edition of sweatshirts and trousers. Black Lake Clothing
We already introduced you to Black Lake Clothing in our series Baba Fashionista. The brand is a small London based company specialising in organic and handmade apparel for children aged from 0 to 5 years old. We received some gorgeous leggings in the past and we still love wearing them.
The mum entrepreneur, Agata makes beautiful creations with cool and funky prints. And her special Christmas edition we are to present you today has the same fab features as her previous collections. It’s even better when you know that the sales generated will help a fab cause that is Little Village.
What is Little Village?
Little Village is a local charity which provides good quality baby clothes and equipment, donated by local families, to local families who need this kit.
They also promote sustainable living and make it easy for local families to help one another in a respectful, non-judgemental, non-patronising way. It’s basically a group of local parents helping others!
The charity aims to create small, warm communities of families supporting one another, within an intense, global city.
Little Village offers a weekly drop-in service for families who need our support, a delivery service but also provides a referrals-based service for its partners such as health visitors, Children’s Centres, midwives and the local food banks.
It is fab to see a community helping people in need!

Green Ensemble
The first ensemble we received is a pair of trousers with a matching sweatshirt.
Both made of super soft organic cotton, it is both comfy and very resistant. I like the fact that both items are made of a thicker fabric. It means my Baba is warm as it is getting colder.
Ethically handmade in London, this ensemble is very nice for the season. Baba wore it while we visite Spirit of Christmas and people loved it. You have no idea how popular the Frenchie baby was at the show. If you follow our Insta Stories, you will have seen that he got a lot of attention (he even played some piano and entertain the public…)
Black Ensemble
This black set has the same features as the previous one. The print is equally gorgeous but it’s a wiser version in black. In case you want something a bit more subtle than the green version, this ensemble is parfait to get into the festive mood.
The trousers are fun and easy to wear. The elastic waistband makes it facile to take it on and off. And the super cute detail we love? The front pocket that gives the item an edgy look.
Plus the print is simply fun! I love the geometric feel of it. In black or green, it looks very nice and so different. I have not seen something like that anywhere else! Fantastique! Because Baba loves standing out of the crowd!
And the collar is also super cool. My Baba look so grown-up in this!
Baba Fashionista with Black Lake Clothing – Le verdict
Black Lake Clothing once more strikes a fabulous collection for the festive season. We love our two sets of sweatshirts and trousers. Both the ensemble are made of good-quality fabric and will keep mon bébé warm over winter.
And oui, it looks super for Christmas but we will keep wearing them again and again after Noël. Parce que it’s really funky and the pattern is so fun and creative!
Both the ensembles we received are colourful, festive and so easy to wear! Any kid would look super cool in those!
