Bonjour lecteurs! Are your little ones real adventurers? Baba loves nothing more than being outside and getting mucky 🙂 Well, if you answered positively to this question, our new Christmas giveaway is for you! Win 3 Mission Adventure Boxes worth £24! Off to explain it all now to you about those exciting boxes, so enjoy and see you tomorrow for more fab prizes!

About Mission Adventure

Mission Adventure is The Royal British Legion’s monthly subscription pack teaching kids exciting new skills they can use in their own adventures. Each month, you get a box with 1 collectible tool, an exciting adventure to complete and a guidebook to get it all done. As you do it!

Within your box, your little ones will have the chance to learn a new skill such as navigation or bushcraft. With it, you will have 4 hours (or more!) guaranteed fun and excitement! Indoors or outdoors, it is totally up to you.

I really like l’idée. Admittedly, when it is about that kind of things, I am not very good myself. I don’t actually remember doing anything like that with my parents when I was little 🙁 It is something I really regret as I think it would have made me more resourceful for sure.

Our Mission Adventure Box

The Mission Adventure Boxes are for kids aged 7-11 but we got one to have a closer look.

It seems that this one is all about navigation. A skill I do not excel if I am being very honest 🙂

The pack is lovely. Bien sûr, being only 3, Baba loved the compass. It is very sweet to have an object for them to use when they complete their adventure.

The compass was a hit for Baba!

The Mission Adventure booklet in it is filled in with some cool activities to have fun and plenty of space for them to reflect on their experience.

You also have fun facts while you read it along.

My fave feature? The stickers (with the tracker sheet s’il-vous-plaît!) Because there is nothing more rewarding than being recognised. It really gives them a feeling of achievement.

Another thing I love with this cute blue and yellow box? It develops our kids’ independence. You can never make up for this!

Go and Live Some Adventures!

And when you know that children aged 6-11 spend on average nearly 5 hours a day on media (OMG! Fancy a look at the full report from the Ofcom regarding children and their use of TV and media?), it is time to get them more active. I know, ironic for a blogger to say this, but when I see how quick they learn to use new technologies these days, I am eager to hide the tablet or try something else!

Rant is over…
