You are not dreaming! Frenchie Mummy had the chance to go to Stylist Live 2016 last weekend. Exit Baba and Grumpy Boyfriend, it was a girls’ day (well deserved) for the most Frenchie mama out there.
Baba was with Belle-Maman so I was sure that he was in good hands and I could fully enjoy myself! And, oh bless! I could actually take the quickest journey on the tube without having to make sure there were some lifts!
So what is Stylist Live? This is the annual show where the fabulous magazine Stylist comes to life to give you the best beauty products. But not only! You can also see over 150 inspiring talks and workshops, more than 100 boutique pop-ups and enjoy some free pampering! Who said the word paradis? ?
The entrance was just the most girly ever! I just loved the pink and the glitter. For one minute, you could feel like une star de cinéma! Well, I did! It’s not often that Frenchie Mummy goes out on her own …
The entrance to the event introduced the tone of the event: girly, glamorous, pink, stylish. In other words, the opposite of le monde des mamans! Not that I don’t like the Mummy World… Or peut-être? ?
Hold on, there was actually a free cocktail to welcome you! Alright then, screw the Mummy World! I was in for a treat!
And when I say that, I mean doughnuts. They were made with matcha tea, so it was totally fine and super healthy. Probably why I decided to stuff my face with one of those even if it was not even midday and I still had some lunch afterwards!
And then, some jewellery inspiration. Grumpy Boyfriend has still not proposed to me in Venice as wanted… A girl needs to make herself happy with what is available!
And just because I was feeling like une star de cinéma, I also had a look at those funky earrings! Just pretending I am still trendy and young really! Did I not tell you yet that I was still rocking it with a pair of leggings and some flat pumps? How about some of those to complete my look?
I mean obviously, I can totally look like that most of the time…
More seriously, though, I got some inspiration for the house.
Aussi, I checked the new trends for this winter.
I revised my alphabet. Always good to check on this things as you get older…
I pretended I was in a museum of modern art. Actually, I was just thinking about more food and getting pampered for free… ?
Here we are! I eventually enjoyed some free pampering with the fabulous Frenchie brand Clarins! I told you I was feeling like a star!
Le verdict? It was great! I thought at first that it would be only an event about beauty products. I must admit that I wasn’t expecting that at all! And we were also lucky enough to attend a talk by Caroline Hirons.
She actually taught me how to use a cleanser properly! Don’t laugh… It’s very important to look beautiful when you are a SAHM! ? Check out her blog for all her beauty secrets!
