St. Ermin’s’ Afternoon Tea

Bonjour lecteurs! I hope you are having a blast over the Summer holidays. Baba is only going twice a week to the nursery. So I have to find ways to keep him busy. And is there anything better than an Afternoon Tea in town? St. Ermin’s Hotel close to St James’s Park offers one of the most delicious Afternoon Teas in London. We recently tested it & I can tell you we were not disappointed! Have a look if you fancy doing something a bit different with the kids!

St. Ermin’s Hotel

Located between St. James’s and Victoria stations, St. Ermin’s Hotel is a stunning place.

You can even play chess before coming in

Its courtyard gives you an intimate feeling. Plus, we were greeted by a lovely gentleman making popcorn when we arrived!

Popcorn on top of tea!? What a treat!

But you will also be blown away by the entrance stairs of this four-star deluxe hotel.

A luminous entrance for a fabulous time

Inside, the ambience is very stylish and peaceful.

He was at ease straight away… As always!

There is a good selection on the menu. You can even get a gluten-free version or top-up to some rosé wine.

Looking at the menu. He wanted it all!

Whatever you fancy. Relax and enjoy the view from the outdoor terrace! We loved that little detail! It was like having a little alfresco early dinner.

Plus, we had plenty of space so that Baba could explore a bit. You know what it is like with a 3-year-old…

Scones! Classic!

On top of the traditional scones, we enjoyed a selection of sandwiches (Prawn with lemon and dill, Cucumber with mint and chive cream cheese, Cumbrian ham, Montgomery cheddar and pickle & Carrot and raisin with mint, coriander and houmous Coronation chicken).

It looked very prestigious!

And my favourite sweet had to be the Choux bun with its cherry compote, whipped milk chocolate and vanilla cream. Sounds good? Well, it was yummy too!

Actually, I also liked this one…

A great Afternoon Tea for us with un peu de champagne and a lovely view!

But St. Ermin’s’ Afternoon Tea offers more! Indeed, you can order the sweetest Afternoon Tea for your little ones!

Loving the view from the terrace

Mini Gardener Tea

I was not the only one to indulge! Baba enjoyed his own Mini Gardener Tea. Brought in a mini crate, it features some amazing sweets!

He got his own treat!

You even have a chocolate sandwich…

He went for the sandwiches first

The waiter presented it all to Baba with so much care. The fun petit détail? You also get some icing sugar so that you can decorate your sweet treats yourself! It is so fun!

And off he went… Making his biscuits very Frenchie bien sûr!

And you also get a special herb garden growing pack. So that once you get home, you can have fun in the garden.

With 5 cakes and sandwiches, it is a real meal! Baba didn’t have any dinner that night! And it is rare that he is full!

The hotel’s decor is very stylish and we loved some yummy food on the terrace.

No doubt it will be one of my fave moments this month!

Everything is made so that you feel comfortable and you enjoy yourself.

The top mark goes to the special attention that Baba received during our visit! He truly enjoyed having his own tea like a grown-up!

If you are looking for an Afternoon Tea in London you can enjoy with children, I really recommend booking a table at St. Ermin’s’ Hotel. Or do it without the kids too! After all, it is simply too grandiose!
