Bonjour lecteurs! Are you already looking for Christmas ideas? May I suggest a spa voucher? I think I might actually add this one to my Xmas list! If you follow me on Instagram, you would have probably seen that I visited the Granary Spa in Great Chart. Let me tell you, you will want to try a Pure Bliss Treatment after this review!
The Granary Spa
The Granary Spa is situated outside of Ashford, right next to the stunning Godington House.
The organic and holistic spa is truly charming with its Victorian building.
Tucked in the Kentish countryside, the beauty spa has it all for you to relax.
The owner Clare and her team have your well-being at heart. Enjoy some organic pamper and more…
L’Atmosphère
The Granary Spa is a real gem.
Nothing extravagant there. No pool, but a beautiful Victorian granary renovated with a couple of rooms for you to relax.
It’s such a piece of heaven. I got a mini-tour before my treatment and I got to enjoy its beautiful surroundings.
Be prepared to be wowed with its Sheperd’s Hut and the sun loungers outside.
Despite the gloomy weather this week, it was still enchanting.
Surrounded by books, magazines, and holistic quotes I got to relax first. It is so different and you feel at peace straight away.
Enjoy a Pukka tea and you are set to fully unwind.
My Pure Bliss Treatment
I got a Pure Bliss Treatment. As I am quite tense, I decided to go for a back, neck, and shoulder massage as well as an organic facial.
And I must say it did not disappoint! My beauty therapist, Alison was excellent and so lovely. She identified my needs straight away and put me at ease. Indeed, I have a lot of tension in my neck and my shoulders. Too much time on the laptop!
Mixing a deep tissue massage as well as a mix of techniques, she really relieved the tension. I have never felt so relaxed. It was one of the best massages I have ever had!
The organic facial was the perfect way to end my treatment. Full relaxation with the sound of the birds in the nearby trees!
It was magique!
And top mark for the personal touch. It was a bespoke treatment, not your standard one you can choose from a list. Alison even left a personal card with tips and ideas at home for me to carry on my well-being journey.
The Granary Spa – Le Verdict
How little did I know before visiting the Granary Spa this week! It is truly a gem in the region of Ashford.
I was put at ease as soon as I arrived. I unwinded with tea and a magazine in a massage chair.
The place is truly beautiful with its rustic vibes. Un havre de paix as we say in French or a little piece of heaven.
I could not think of better words to describe my experience. The team is lovely and ever so caring.
From start to finish, they all made sure I was relaxed. And no rush to leave as soon as my treatment was finished. I could just enjoy it all day if I wanted to!
Sadly, I had to leave to pick up Stanley from school… But I will be back. Life is too short not to enjoy a bit of peace and relaxation in such a charming location.
The Granary Spa is a beautiful down-to-earth retreat. I have not felt that relaxed for a long time. If you are in need of some pampering, this is your place.
So much more than a beauty spa! A really mindful way to approach beauty and well-being together.
