March 2023 – Once a Londoner Always A Londoner

Bonjour lecteurs! Who is having fun over the Easter holidays? Can you believe we have already been through 25% of 2023!? Time truly flies by. As it is the Easter break, Stanley was at Barracudas Camps and I used this time to do my quarterly review. March 2023 has truly been a busy month. I started teaching French again on top of everything else. So I never ever stopped, but I still managed to get a few days in town. And Once a Londoner Always a Londoner!

Mother’s Day Campaigns & WBD

March 2023 started slowly with a lot of family time in Kent.

I was working a lot to create all our content for some exciting Mother’s Day Campaigns. So it has been busy.

Meanwhile, Stanley had fun at l’école with WBD 2023. Last year, he dressed up as Peter Rabbit. Well, this year he wanted to be a lapin again…

So he was Benjamin Bunny??

Walk & Work

The second week of March 2023 was all about balancing life and work.

And I also got used to my new schedule as I am now back to school once a week. It’s a temporary job, but I am glad to see I have not lost it!

It’s really hectic at times in between my jobs and life. So as soon as the sun was out, we made sure to get some fresh air.

I love being in Kent, but I have been really missing going out on my bike lately. The weather has been so bad over the last few weeks…

I can’t wait for sunny days to go on long bike rides and explore more on my new vélo.

London Days!

And because I am all about balance and doing a bit of everything, I also loved being back in London with my blog.

I made it to a fabulous travel network event. So great to be right in Westminster and meet new people to work with.

You may have noticed, I have been doing more and more travel features on my channels over the last year or so. I am so excited to plan new press trips and show you all the family-friendly places in the UK and Europe.

Mother’s Day Weekend

What did you do for Mother’s Day? Each year, it is a big one on my calendar. I was off for the weekend and made it to a pub lunch with some members of our family.

And on the big day, I got to wear a pretty dress and went for lunch at Boys Hall.

For a posh roast dinner and a lot of vino with my boys. I felt happy and loved.

Grumpy Boyfriend’s Birthday

But March 2023 was not all about me. Indeed, in between some party in London for the new launch of My Baba, I made it to town again for Grumpy Boyfriend’s birthday!

It was time to celebrate him, so we stayed in a beautiful hotel between Islington and Shoreditch. Party time with cocktails and more adventures in London.

It’s The Easter Break!

And just like that, it was the end of March 2023. I made it to Stanley’s School Open Afternoon for a bit of Easter craft!

It was so cute to see him among his peers. We could not make it last year, so I was so looking forward to it! He has made so much progress over the last term.

He is working very hard to concentrate and proofread his work. I am very proud of him and even more that he is on track with his benchmarks.

It was great to receive such feedback because I was doubting myself un peu at the start of the month.

A Happy and Balanced Life

I say it all over my channels again and again. I am all about getting that balance between life and work.

And looking back at the first quarter of 2023, I seem to be doing well at getting a harmonic life.

I stay busy with des projets différents that keep me on my toes. But I also know when to take a break.

Equally, my family life is an eclectic mix of country walks one day and fashionable events the next.

One day, I am a casual Frenchie, and the next one, I put on my makeup and wear my best frocks for some glam adventures.

I would not do it another way. I think it defines me very well. More importantly, it makes me very happy.

April started already like that with more adventures in Kent. But we also have more glam things in the diary.

I am working very hard to reach all my goals. I am truly in my element when I am busy with new challenges and projects.

Now, all we need is a bit of sunshine so that I can wear all the lovely summer fashion bits I have been buying at Sandro over the last few days ?

Let’s The Sun Shine

What are you up to for Easter? Are you going off somewhere nice to get some sunshine? What are your big Spring & Summer projects?

Our schedule is quite busy over the next few weeks, but I am going to take a few days off for the Easter Weekend. To recharge and spend quality time with my two fave men ?

Have a lovely Easter break and see you soon with more fashion, lifestyle, and (hopefully!) a bit more interiors on the blog.

Let’s put my OOO on, and I am off for some chocolate and maybe a bit of vino ??

Disclosure: This post might feature some sponsored content I recently published but it is merely a list of my highlights of the month! This a post where I share some reflections as a mum in the country and in London. I hope it will inspire you to get on more family adventures.

I love to visit London where there are so many interesting things to see and do, I never tire of London but I wouldn’t want to live there!

I loved living in Greater London. I was there for 10 years and I am always so nostalgic of those days 🙂

Your March sounds like what I do in a year, haha. But I’m so glad you found a nice balance between you and work. It’s not easy finding happiness and peace in this hectic world.

I see you’re still very much in doubt of what an amazing mum you are. I’m glad Stanley’s progress at school can show you how well you’re doing as a parent.

We’re at Malta at the moment, trying to chase some heat and sun. Temperatures are 19-20 here with a higher UV index so we have to protect them with plenty of sun cream because kids here are getting sunburnt. It’s lovely here and the hotel (DB seabank) has got a massive Easter feast awaiting for us on Sunday. It’s an all inclusive hotel so I literally do not have to lift a finger to cook. Can’t wait to hear about your Easter ventures

Oh that sounds just lovely! I will have to check out this hotel. We are just back from Crete and now it’s time to catch up with work haha

I like a bit of city life but this Easter I’m visiting my parents caravan in Rothbury, Northumberland: beautiful countryside and Bamburgh beach is just breathtaking!
