Living Arrows 47/52 – Baba visits OWA YURIKA first Pop-Up Shop

Bonjour lecteurs! You know how much we love fashion. If you are not aware of it yet, we actually have a fashion series on the blog. Each week, Baba Fashionista presents you with some exclusive and fantastic labels. (Our last one will be up next with a great giveaway if you fancy!). So when we were invited to see OWA YURIKA first Pop-Up Shop at Pippa Store in Notting Hill, there was no way we were going to say no!

Living Arrows 47/52 – Baba visits OWA YURIKA first Pop-Up Shop

So off we went on Friday on the tube for our fashion adventure! After stopping by to Richmond (we shared it all on our Insta stories), Baba was asleep in his pushchair until we arrived at the iconic Pippa Store in West London.

But he woke up as soon as we arrived to see the collection of the famous designer!

The babe has a great taste in fashion and there was no way he would miss it!

OWA YURIKA, a Girlswear Label to Follow!

Created by Japanese mother and daughter team Yuki and Yuriko Oshima, OWA YURIKA is a very smart girlswear label that launched not so long ago.

Inspired by the birth of Yuki’s daughter Honor Yurika, Yuki and her maman started the label as they wanted to create something different.

“We wanted to bring London’s cutting-edge design aesthetic together with high-quality Japanese manufacturing, luxury textiles and meticulous attention to detail,” explains Yuki. “We feel that modern parents who appreciate innovative design want to dress their children in unique pieces which enable their girls to embrace who they are in an individual way. Our designs aren’t obviously girly and our philosophy is based on creating designs that can instil confidence in girls when they are wearing them.”

Their collection is très chic and so modern at the same time. While Baba was happy to watch some cartoons, Frenchie Mummy had a look at the collection available at the shop and she was very impressed with the items. Both sophisticated and luxurious it was nevertheless very cool and tout simplement magique! No doubt any little girl would love wearing something from the brand!

So, what do you think of this label? It is truly gorgeous! I wish I was a little girl again (or Baba was une fille himself) so that I could go home with one of those so cute items!
