I really like the concept of having fun and learning at the same time. It is so important to implement this idée with kids.

The brand has a large choice of toys. They even offer a selection of Special Education Needs games. We actually reviewed the Learning Resources Counting Cows last year and we loved them.

Baba is still playing with them now.

This robot looks friendly 🙂

Botley The Coding Robot Activity Set

Botley is a dynamic coding robot. While it looks fun with its super bright couleurs, it also helps your children to develop skills in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM).

And I say ‘oui‘ to this because those are not really my strong point! So if a toy can do it for moi, c’est fabuleux!

Another thing that could convince you to buy this toy? It’s 100% screen-free and Botley is the ideal introduction to coding.

  1. My little man loves Disney Cars, so any of his Lightning McQueen and Mack vehicles are his number one toy at the moment

  2. My daughter has a toy that plays classical music when you push the button. She got it around the time she was born and is now 5. She still takes it out and plays it, so I’d call it a success.

  3. My daughter’s favourite toy ever was a blue and yellow plastic dinosaur that came everywhere with us x

  4. A toy cooking set with pans, utensils, drinking glasses and serving dishes. She was barely able to grasp the pans when she first played with it and now 8 years on still spends hours playing with it (although now claims to be “helping” her little sister)

  5. Favourite toy ever: It has to be Lego. I loved it when I was a kid, and now my kids are following suit. Somehow they seem able to concentrate for hours at a time on Lego.

    1. The other thing that’s proving surprisingly popular at the moment is the Thomas & Friends train set. I’m seriously considering treating them by buying some extra bits because they’re really getting creative with the track layouts, but always seem to not have quite enough curves or points or whatever to build it how they want.

  6. I have 3 children, my son (10) his favourite toy is his DS (I wish he’d play with something else to be honest) my older daughter (7) loves her shopkins and my youngest (2) absolutely loves her sand and water table

  7. We have a huge mixed bag of lego, some pieces are missing, but it has brought endless hours of fun. I would say a favourite

  8. My daughter Violet has a soft cow, called ‘moo moo’ she plays all her games, whether it is tea parties or colouring

  9. He has lots of favourites, it’s so interesting to see how he plays with different things together!

  10. Don’t think mine has a particularly favourite toy at the mo. They like playing with their Lego and superhero figures

  11. If you can call them toys then my 6 year old loves his Pokemon cards. If not; then his mega hotwheels garage. It’s huge!!

  12. Leo (age 2) absolutely loves his workbench with wooden tools. He has a little saw, screwdriver, spanner and pliers. He also has a hard hat and hi-vis jacket. You wouldn’t believe how quickly he aims for his toolset as soon as he walks through the door!
