Bonjour lecteurs! On a scale of 1 to 10, how good has your sleep been lately? I am an easy sleeper. I can littéralement doze off anywhere anytime if I am fatiguée. Lucky me! Having said that though, our mattress was getting old and I could feel that it had lost its comfort over the years. So when the team at Simba Sleep got in touch to test the fameux Simba Hybrid Mattress, I said oui… And after having used it for nearly a fortnight, here is my Frenchie Simba Mattress Review. Is It Worth The Hype? I tell you all!
The Simba Hybrid Mattress
I am pretty sure you might have come across Simba Sleep before.
The super cool brand is quite the hype online with its fameux Simba Hybrid Mattress.
So what’s the big deal? The first Simba Hybrid design is supposed to be the coolest foam mattress with its mix of innovative micro-springs & cushioning foam. The material promises cooling airflow so that you can be guaranteed good sleep.
It also features an anti-motion transfer for maximum support and comfort.
The cover is breathable and your matelas or mattress is made in the UK in zero-waste factories.
Even better, the Simba Mattress is 100% recyclable as it is designed with 68% less foam compared to other brands.
Simba Mattress Review – First Impressions
Our Simba Hybrid Mattress arrived quickly after our order. I was at work and I was quite surprise by the size of the box when I got home!
I had ordered a king-sized bed and at first, I thought they sent the wrong one.
Well, it was the parfaite size! Only, the brand got you covered with minimal packaging! En plus, it’s also easier to move it this way.
The unboxing was très simple and quite fun for Stanley. We took it out, followed the scissor marks on the plastic et voilà!
It littéralement opened up! I read some reviews before and some mentioned a light smell as the mattress was brand new, but it was not that bad in my opinion. I used a calming lavender spray and quite frankly the newly scent was gone pretty quickly.
The Simba Hybrid Mattress normalement takes up to 72 hours to regain its shape fully.
Sleeping On Our Simba Mattress
At first, the mattress looked quite slim compared to our old one but it was so comfy!
Our first sleep with our Simba Mattress was parfait! I felt straight away la différence, especially on my lower back.
The foam supports you well and is soft enough for you to be comfy. There is nothing worse than a mattress too firm in my opinion!
Since then, we have been very happy with our new Simba Hybrid Mattress.
Simba Mattress Review – Le Verdict
So is it worth the hype? I must say that our Simba Mattress did not disappoint.
We have only been using it for a little bit more than a fortnight now, but it feels so good.
I would say it is medium to firm support as you can feel that you sink in a bit with the combination of memory foam and springs but you can get up easily. It’s the right level of support.
It’s light, comfortable and we’ve been sleeping very well on it.
Simba Mattresses come at a price (from £579), but I can’t find anything to fault. We are very happy with ours and if you are looking at a more sustainable option for your own chambre, it’s a great brand to check out!

I heard so much, so I was eager to test it myself. Very happy with ours! I would definitely recommend.
Oh I am opposite. I love a mattress as firm as could be so when my kids are bouncing up and down next to me, I don’t go flying off. I think that is what I worry about all these lovely new memory foam mattresses, they’re not firm enough for me. I ended up investing in a orthopedic mattress which is super firm, haha.
It sounds very good! Can’t believe how small they manage to package it!
that looks super cosy! I am so fussy when it comes to mattresses, the best hotel mattress was at The Vichy Spa Hotel in France, was like sleeping on a cloud! I even took off the sheets to see what brand it was so I could buy the same

It is important to get a good mattress, you don’t realise how much bad or old mattress has an affect on your health and sleep pattern

This is the mattress of my dreams and top of my wish list. I’ve never owned a mattress of great quality but after sleeping at my sisters and experiencing for myself, there really is no comparison
