It will help you find the right balance between the feeding, the clubs and all the chores on top of work. This is what prioritising your well-being looks like. A Relaxing Home

Motherhood brings immense joy, but it’s très physique. So you need to plan intentional self-care into your schedule. Start with a well-planned space at home that allows you to recharge at any time.

Find your little corner in your home and add a comfortable standard couch with supportive cushions. C’est la place parfaite to relax in peace.

Go for a sofa designed to provide lumbar and spinal support. It will help alleviate back pain and maintain healthy posture during extended periods of sitting.

Or you  can add some soothing essentials for you to recover around the house. Think bath salts or even a scented candle by the window edge where you can sit with a cup of tea. There is nothing that makes me happier!

Restful Sleep

Sleep also plays a critical role throughout motherhood, especially if you are a new mum. So invest in a well-cushioned mattress tailored for comfort. We changed our mattress last year and I have noticed such a difference. I sleep so much better and it makes me a better mum!

Many recherches proved that a good night sleep lifts your mood and promotes a better emotional balance.

En plus, a supportive mattress eases back, hip, and pelvic discomfort, especially during pregnancy. So it’s a no brainer. The best investment you can do for you and your family.

Nourishing Mind and Mood with Comfort Foods

There is no secret. For you to feel your best emotionally and physically, you need nourishing food. But I also welcome some comfort dishes to help navigate the daily highs and lows of motherhood.

Research shows that stress hormone levels drop after eating familiar favourite foods, offering genuine support for mums under pressure.

During stressful periods, comfort food act as natural mood boosters. They help you stay emotionally balanced while managing the nonstop rhythm of family life, so go for it from time to time if you feel like it! Plus, we all know that food can lift your mood.

I recommend you go for food  that’s nourishing, energising, and easy to prep. I am obsessed with protein-rich meals and snacks like cooked chicken, tuna, boiled eggs and cheese. They really help me going all day long.

You also need to include whole grains and fibres as well as vegetable-packed dishes. Not sure about your food’s nutrition? I use Fitness Pal to keep on track with my macros and it helps me so much with my diet. I feel much better, stronger and I have plus d’énergie for daily mums stuff.

Food in itself is a small act of care. So feed yourself from the inside. Fancy a snack? Grab some nuts et voilà! After all, motherhood is full of headaches.

Simple Skincare Routines For Busy Mums

Being a mum is a full time job and it’s easy to forget yourself in between the bottles, the snacks and the rest. But even a simple skincare routine can bring so much joy and you feel like a new woman.

My morning routine is pretty simple: I cleanse my face, use a toner, followed my a moisturiser and/ or a serum et voilà! What’s yours?

It doesn’t have to be a luxurious brand. Don’t forget a good SPF and you are sorted for the day.

During the morning rush, skipping skincare altogether is easy, especially when juggling packed lunches, uniforms, and a toddler who’s suddenly gone shoeless. But just five minutes to look after your skin can make une réelle différence

Your evening routine does not have to be complicated either: cleanse, apply a night cream or serum and you are done. Mine contains some extra retinol so that it renews my skin and reduces signs of ageing. That’s all you need.

Extra Tips for Mums

Even with limited time, a few choices can make a big difference to how your skin looks and feels day to day: 

  • Keep it consistent: A simple daily routine is more effective than a complicated one you can’t stick to.
