I feel pretty terrible, to be honest! I have been quite negative lately. Ranting about people cheating on Facebook groups (but they are so naughty!), wanting to kill Grumpy Boyfriend. This is not me!
But you know the truth? Grumpy Boyfriend is an exceptional man! Not only he has been putting up with my drama and tantrums for more than 6 years now, but he also takes care of me.
He deserves a medal, really.
He saved my life just yesterday night! It was very dangerous. I tell you now the full story if you are interested.
Monday night. It was dark and cold. Winter is coming up for sure. Frenchie Mummy had a very hard day, shopping for a new bag. In the end, she only bought some nice clothes for her Baba adoré. She feels a bit bof (so-so) lately.
Her blog is successful. People love listening to her stories and can’t have enough of her giveaways. What you don’t know we have two fabulous competitions right now? It’s here and here. Come on, lecteurs! Enter them and make her happy!
Mais, she is sad. Oui, très triste. Only 3 months and la vie de rêve will be over! Finished being a SAHM, the lies in until 8am in the morning (bliss!), the endless walks and other adventures with Baba.
No more feeding sessions with le bébé.
Non! Frenchie Mummy is feeling pas bien, because she knows… She is going to go back to work in January! How is she going to cope? How is she going to blog as often as now? She feels very depressed and miserable.
So much indeed that yesterday night, when she came back from the weekly shopping (boring!), she tried to end it all. She could not bear it anymore! She had enough!
She grabbed it. She was not thinking straight at the time. That’s all she wanted. Nothing else! She got it in her hands and hit herself. Un, deux, trois… a dozen of times! She could not stop.
She knew it was wrong, but she could not control herself. It was pure suicide. A total meltdown! How come, when she has been so strong and looking really well after herself all this time? She just gave up!
Thank god for that, Grumpy Boyfriend was there and saved her from the fatal mistake. One sentence and he saved her life!
‘Are you really going to polish off this tub of ice cream?!’, slightly sarcastic, while I was stuffing my face with some Häagen-Dazs.
How could I resist? This new flavour ‘salted caramel’ was un délice!
Mais non, dear readers, I didn’t commit suicide! Well, kind of with all this amount of sugar I injected my body with yesterday…
Merci mon amour. Merci Grumpy Boyfriend for taking the ice cream off my hands and putting it back in the freezer. You saved my tummy from being fat! You know what is good for me!
I love you so much for being so attentive, caring and more sensitive than me! Thank you for being my hero, my knight, the one and only who protects me at all times! Mon Prince Charmant in other words…
Disclosure: This post is not collaborative. Frenchie Mummy went to the shop and like a big girl, she grabbed the ice cream and put it in her trolley. Admittedly, she did it sneakily because Grumpy Boyfriend would have put it back. But Frenchie Mummy can be very good at dissimulating when she wants something. Baba saw her and gave her this look ‘You know you shouldn’t really! I will let you off for this time and not say a word to Papa if you let me watch more cartoons tonight!’
And by the way, the ice-cream is still intact in the freezer! Zut! Talking about it now made me want some more! Let’s finish it today! Grumpy Boyfriend is not here to stop me this time…

It’s miserable to have to go back to work, especially when you’ve been home for a while and now that you have a beautiful baby it’s even worse. I remember that feeling after being home for two weeks, I can’t imagine after almost one year #KCACOLS

Haha – thank god for Grumpy Boyfriend! (As for facebook groups…they’re a minefield! I take the let it wash over me approach! I follow the rules, I know there are always some people who don’t. It is annoying and unfair. But I have decided that I’m not going to waste the time being annoyed, or even checking up on people’s compliance. Less stress that way!) #ablogginggoodtime
