There was no world book day dress up when my kids were young, my daughter is very last minute with my grandkids

World book day can be great fun but it seems to be much about the creativity and ingenuity of the parents, or in some cases how much the parents are prepared to spend on a costume. This is unfair on poorer families or children that have me as a father!

What lovely books conveying very interesting and useful topics. I especially love “I love you like yellow” because it is hard to explain what love is to a child even though it’s such an important thing to understand.
Aaron Slater sounds like a book I want to get my son. He gives up way too easily on things that doesn’t work out the first time.
