Bonjour lecteurs! You know how much I love food. So today is a bit of a special post amongst our Blog Anniversary Giveaways with the Launch of Richmond Chicken Sausages. Not that I often share some cool recettes like this one, so make the most of it!

Richmond is a synonym of traditional Britsih food like the famous sausage and mash. Do you like getting the family together around the dinner table for a little feast?
Moi aussi! And yes, I am not what we call a traditional cook, but I like discovering new things and eating some good food!
No need to say how excited I was to get invited by Richmond to find out more about their new Richmond chicken sausages. After all, you can have them in so many ways!
Celebrating The Launch of Richmond Chicken Sausages
The brand has teamed up with no one else than the very pretty TV presenter and Chef Angellica Bell, to help create some of the nation’s favourite dishes.
In some beautiful kitchen in the heart of Soho, she demonstrated for us some fab recipes.
Within the event, I discovered how to make some Yorkshire Puddings and a fab recipe of baked beans.
If like moi, you are not really Raymond Blanc, I tell you what, it is super facile! If you already know your stuff, then good for you! Have a look at the Frenchie recipe above and tell us what you think of it!
After trying our culinary skills with la fameuse 2017 Celebrity MasterChef winner, we got to taste some delicious food including the new saucisses!
And the best news? The Richmond Chicken Sausages are délicieuses! Plus healthier, as they are 30% less fat and have 20% fewer calories. It is music to my ears!
From now on, Grumpy Boyfriend and Baba will have those every week! Especially when they are available in all major supermarkets at a fab retail price of £2.50!

La Tarte aux Courgettes & Saucisses
My mum used to do this all the time. Actually, she still does one when she knows I get back to France.
Simple to make and delicious, you can enjoy it warm or cold with a salad. So if you do one tonight, you can keep the leftovers for your lunch! Merci Frenchie Mummy for saving us time 🙂
You will need the following ingredients
- 1 puff pastry
- 500 gr of courgettes or zucchini
- 1 onion
- 4 eggs
- some milk
- 4 Richmond Chicken Sausages
- and some cheese
La Tarte aux Courgettes & Saucisses, c’est maintenant in 10 simple steps!
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees
- Cut the onion finely and put it to melt for 5 minutes in a little olive oil
- Add the zucchini cut into slices. Put a pinch of thyme and a little salt
- Cook for 10 minutes
- Beat the eggs in an omelette, add a little bit of milk (or cream if you fancy). Mix well
- Spread the puff pastry in a pan
- Cut the sausages into slices and arrange half on the dough
- Spread over the zucchini, and then the remaining sausages
- Put some grated Gruyère cheese on top or Parmesan cheese
- And put it all in the oven for 25 min

Baked Bean Pie – a layer of baked beans with sausage, bacon, mushroom and onions all mixed together, then a layer of mashed potato on top then cheese on top of that. Put it in the oven for 30 mins and serve with naan bread to mop up the bean juice. AMAZING!

I make sausage and tomato casserole which is popular in our house, so trying these sausages in my recipe would be a great idea.
My favourite has to be simple Richmond thick pork sausages, mashed potato and swede, peas and thick gravy! OK then, a piece of bread to mop up the gravy and juices! Proper childhood memories of my food at home x

Really simple but my daughter’s favourite ……. cheesy mash, with sausages, baked beans and peas. These seem like a much healthier option, so I would probably cook it more often for her.
