Therefore, I am making it a priorité to look after myself. Last month, I joined a local gym and now and then, I get a pedicure or a treatment. Basically, you register and pay a fee for you to get a monthly massage.

Personnellement, j’adore l’idée that massages should be more mainstream and not an occasional treat.

It can have many great effects on your overall well-being.

For £59.95 a month, you can get 1 treatment a month on top of many memberships’ benefits.

And the Massage Company also offers maternity massages for you ladies!

The Massage Company In Tunbridge Wells

My local Massage Company is situated in Tunbridge Wells. You can’t miss it on Monson Road.

Available since 2018, it features over 12 rooms!

I was very surprised to see such a big location. I was expecting a smaller scale business, but it was huge.

I met many staff members and I must say they were all very dynamic and professional.

The place was clean and welcoming. A great start!

My Deep Tissue Massage

After filling in a questionnaire about my general health, but also what I wanted to achieve in one session, I was quick to be introduced to my therapist Tom.

For the occasion, I decided to go for a deep tissue massage. I usually go for Swedish ones as I like to relax.

But I have been very tense in the upper back and my neck.

My therapist was very polite and happy to answer any questions I had.

I am going to be honnête, I was surprised to see how young he was, but he did an amazing job and I left the place feeling light and relaxed.

He asked me beforehand what I wanted him to concentrate on. I was a bit worried that a deep tissue massage would hurt, but it was firm and on point and nothing painful. My therapist was keen to relieve my pain, but still, adjust the instensity of the movements.

You can also opt for aromatherapy blends as an upgrade depending on your needs. I got to test the ‘Tension Relief’ oil and I must say it was very relaxing.

I have always seen a massage as a treat. Something I would do when I visit a spa.

However, the Massage Company totally changed my mind. And I actually see now how a regular massage could benefit my health in the long term.

Like many other millennials and freelancers, I tend to spend a lot of time in front of my laptop, and I ‘arch’ beaucoup.

I constantly have upper back pains, especially as I easily forget to stretch etc.

I must say I was very impressed when I visited the Massage Company in Tunbridge Wells. The staff’s branch is young but dynamic and they clearly know what they are doing.

Prices are also competitive. Spas and hotels would easily charge from £80 for a similar full body massage. If you take a year subscription, it would cost you only £59.99 with the Massage Company.

Un autre plus? You get to know your therapist and each month, they can get a better picture of your needs.

So is this the new way to do massages? I could totally get into this if the brand was to launch a branch in Ashford.

I think it is such a good investment for your well-being and also a nice thing to look forward to each month!
