Bonjour chers lecteurs!
We are back again, as our 30 Days Blogging Challenge is proving to be very popular! Today, it should be a picture of somewhere I have been.
We recently went to Borde Hill Garden in Sussex for a day out. I decided to write about this place as I really enjoyed visiting it with its beautiful garden. De plus, a lot of photos from this post happened to be very favoured on my Instagram. So I thought I would share them again with you.
Eh oui, Frenchie Mummy is not really following the rules as she is supposed to share une photo, but I can’t resist as the place is just divine!
Let’s start with the garden. It’s so beautiful, I don’t think I need to write more about it. The picture talks for itself.
It was like being in Alice in Wonderland again! I loved walking around with Baba and Grumpy Boyfriend in the shades and just relax. That is what weekends are supposed to be like! To make it more wonderful, we actually visited the tea room, where I had a massive piece of chocolate cake!
The place is very peaceful if you fancy meditating! Not that we could do so with un bébé.
I think that one of my favourite parts was le jardin italien.
As you can see in the photo, there is a beautiful fountain and you can sit down. Baba loved observing the water lilies in it.
If you feel like being more adventurous than us, the woody part would be perfect for you. We didn’t go much into it as we had the pushchair. But we made sure to take some photos souvenirs!
Baba also had his personal picnic on the green!
And we were lucky enough to attend a day when a free choir was playing music in the afternoon.
As you can see here, Baba had very little interest in Maman at that point. I am actually hoping that he will be musical like his papa!
It’s a gorgeous place and I strongly recommend to visit it on a sunny day with your family or friends. You can also bring all your stuff and have a picnic on the grass. And you can end the day by buying some homemade jam in the shop!
Here we go! A place that I loved visiting with ma famille recently. I hope you enjoyed it!
What were your best family days out? I would love to hear about places that you enjoyed visiting. Do you want to recommend anywhere you think is worth checking out?
I’m SO delighted you joined us at Friendship Friday at Create With Joy – what a pleasure it is to meet you! 🙂 Your photos are lovely! Did you know that I host a Wordless Wednesday party for my photo loving friends (if you love photos you’ll love meeting that crew!) as well as Inspire Me Monday and the Book Nook?
The 30 Days Blogging Challenge sounds interesting. Will have to check it out!
Have an amazing weekend! 🙂
